Blame One throws up a heavy flowed track on this one, over Jmus’s super infectious beats.

For some this is going to be an instant love, for others it might prove to be a grower, but I guarantee you will wind up liking this record one way or another. It’s a great mix of new and old skool elements of beat making, and lyrical style. Red Pill & Hir-O are a perfect team, and make good work of each individual song, and no track is a filler. If you’re more a fan of the catchier, hookier tracks then you’ll like this, and if you’re a gritty little kid that only wants to hear bars then there will be something for you here too.
For fans of Fashawn, Murs, Brother Ali, Planet Asia, Macklemore.
Also, if like me (Aimee) you’ve just come out of University/College with a 20,000+ piece of paper with your name on it, but not much else to show for it, then ‘We Are Not Like Them” is for you.
Our man Mr 13 dropping some much needed bars, all from the comfort of his front room (Standard UKHH practice). I know a lot of people think battle rappers can’t write decent tracks or freestyles outside of battles, but Firts proves that in his case that just isn’t true. His next Don’t Flop appearance will be on the 27th of February, so don’t miss that.
You can get his whole discography for free over at the mighty Bandcamp, all for free. Ain’t you the luckiest bunch.
Just a quick heads up for those who may worry about getting featured on our site: if you sample the Spider-Man cartoon intro in the first song of your album, and old skool game instrumentals on other songs, well then chances are you’ll be on this site by the morning. Of course though you actually have to have talent and create good tracks, which is the main reason we’ve promoted Michael Suess.
Traxx, from dubstep/hip-hop/grime/hardcore group Astroid Boys recently put out a SpitSwag video. People that think Wales can’t come up with awesome hip-hop are fucking silly.

We recently got a press kit from Denver Colrado MC, Eddie Knolls, and I have to be honest I was convinced on this dude by the time I finished the short intro video. Eddie Knolls is the real deal. No gimmicks, no bullshit, just a straight up hip-hop kid making good music. If you’re a fan of Big L, A Tribe Called Quest, Digital Underground ear-Tupac then you’ll be a fan of this dude. His intro video is really interesting, and he discusses the important difference between hip-hop and rap.
A short but sweet snippet from Blue Martinez. No it’s not a Slick Rick cover joint I promise, give it a listen.
Let’s start our 3 day break off with a video of people shouting at each other eh. Who do you reckon won this one?

Hooray! It’s that’s moment you’ve all been waiting for. Counting the days, minutes and seconds until our podcast’s triumphant return to the world. Well rest assured kids it’s back, and it may just change your life. Wu-Tang Clan may have said that, they MAY but I can’t guarantee anything for sure, but have you got Method Man’s phone number? No? Well then I guess you’ll never know.
Matt, our in-house beatboxer strolled round my house last week with a bag full of Bounty’s and a bottle of wine, I added my authentic super-power Jamaican rum and this was the result. I wore my boxing helmet, moaned a bit about my feelings, and Matt chuckled like a stoned Father Christmas. Enjoy! Also, check me out trying to get away with saying “Holla”.

For those of you that have followed HHL&T from the start you will be aware we’re big fans of Weston Super Mare crew Techtonic Plates. It’s been a while since they blessed us with something new, but here are some bars TTP member Satch dropped over the Jurrasic 5 instrumental ‘Action Satisfaction’. Satch said “Love This Beat ‘Action Satisfaction’ By J5 For Years Now So I Felt I Had To Bless It, Couldnt Seem To Find A Cut Off Point So I Keep Going Lol”
Check it out here….
