French beatsmith Keor Meteor has been dropping independent artist album releases on Pragmatic Theory & although he has had emcee/beatmaker j0ndis,,, on our mc albums, these two have combined forces to bring us a full album entitled ‘Deleted Scenes’.

Most we know about these two are that they are humble people, putting out tracks like they breathe it, & they continue to let the music speak for itself. In light of this album, Jondis emphasized his liking of Keor’s style “especially his tracks in the vein of his Videomatic series, our project is sort of a combination of that and my psych abstract raps using imagination and twisting in subtle correlations to the beats context”.

I had to go through some bad, bad music until I came across this gem. It was worth it though, and I’m really feeling the jazz-based beats courtesy of producer Clouded Slum. They work perfectly with his articulation and flow. The narrative and theme of the video itself is quite fun too, and makes an interesting visual! If you like early Mos Def, Dessa (Doomtree) and Evidence then you might be a fan of this dude too. More like this please.

For those of you who think you’re a hard motherfucker or some such rubbish and are dumb enough to think hip-hop isn’t full of feelings and emotional artists (Have you listened to Tupac though?), then chances are the name of this song will put you off. For the rest of you not stupid enough to judge a song or artist by a name, then I highly recommend you listen to this track. Interesting themes, and unpredictable content. Relatively young offering from VSTHEREAL, but a strong offering nonetheless.
