Teknical Development and Hey.zeus.i‘s most recent release FOR:AM drew their dedication to the AM to a close with a series of warm and organic songs. W.I.D.E. comes in stark contrast, with a cold and eerie Shamanic essence. Strong delay fx on the vocals and synthetic drum sounds dominate the slow, yet intensive arrangements. The five track EP crosses genre borders, mi- xing Industrial with Boom Bap and Cloud Rap, the lyrics of the duo running seamlessly through the dark soundscape. ‘Average Rapper Syndrome’ is the debut album from twenty-three year old recording artist TSK. For the last ten years he has been working hard perfecting and developing his own sound. Now in 2015 we get an album that is probably best described as unique and original, making this a release that any discerning fan of Hip-Hop will adore. Coming out of Thetford in East Anglia, TSK is a rapper that goes a little deeper than your average emcee touching on original concepts and subjects. This is music for the mind as well as the soul, something missing so much in Hip-Hop these days.
The album features some of the biggest names from the UK Hip-Hop scene including Klashnekoff, Micall Parknsun, Si Phili (Phili N Dotz), Deadly Hunta, Tone, Diddy Koi and Shadowstar, with production coming mostly from Micall Parknsun, as well as beats from Ill Thought, Pro P, Huphy & Marlon and cuts from JabbaThaKut. This is just the start though, as recording as already started on his next release, an eight track EP entitled ‘Par The Middle Man’ which features producers from the US out of Atlanta, Brooklyn and L.A. as well as beat makers from Germany and the UK.

At 21 dropped his first mixtape “Nice To Meet You” (available on Datpiff.com) that did exceptionally well, more than he expected. It became overwhelming, he moved to ATL, took a year off, shadowed Sean Garrett & Yung Joc for learning purposes. Moving back to Pittsburgh dealing with depression and frustraiton, the artist struggled trying to figure himself out and where he fit in. He felt he didn’t have the normal sound everyone else around the city had with an rap alternative pop-like sound so no one would accept his music. Finally telling himself who cares if they don’t understand, the artist is back from a long break and in full throttle. Opening himself up to do what he loves and embrace the critics.
