Ruinz Ason ‘Post Man’ (Music Video):
The nine track EP is released off the back of the acclaimed 2010 album entitled ‘Hood- starz And Villains’ released in collaboration with New York DJ and Funk Master Flex Protege DJ Technic (Zackery Walls). Ruinz has received airplay on Choice FM and 1xtra and his last single ‘Calling’ reached number 3 in the Flava TV music video charts. In an album review by RWD MAG, Hattie Collins described Ruinz Ason as ‘UK Hip-Hop at its best!’ and also went on to compare Ruinz Ason to UK Hip-Hop heavyweights Sway and Klashnekkoff.
Champions breakfast does not disappoint and delivers even more character, intensity and oxy-morons that listeners have come to now expect from the talented artist who has supported such acts as Ms Dynamite and legendary New York rapper Keith Murray. The EP features collaborations From Twelves a member of the Lewisham Grime collective OG’s and Foz Tee an associate of UK reggae star Gappy ranks. Once again Ruinz Ason has delivered another superb release.

A HERO AND A VILLAIN MUSIC
“A Lost Art” the alias for Quest-Rah’s final chapter to the “Ancient Tapes” series is making a bold statement. Hip Hop has lost a lot of the fine elements which defined it in its golden era, raw beats, intoxicating melodies and fine lyricism, and Quest is on a mission to not just “bring back” these vital aspects of quality music but to take you forward with them. Quest-Rah’s sound is born out of struggle, celebration and life lessons. He blends the raw elements of Hip Hop MC’ing and production and adds an oriental twist making the final product unique from the norm.
Leading Hip-Hop review website RapReviews.com probably put it the best when they said: “Quest-Rah has a thing for piano samples, cinematic beats, Islam, and twisting tales of street drama into byzantine mythologies. Quest-Rah also proves to be a unique emcee, (his) production style is East Coast meets Middle East, with snapping snares over Arabic instrumentation. It’s a nice combination of familiar and exotic, adding a twist to the usual hip hop sound…”
Ancient Tapes Vol.2: The Lost Art is his latest offering and features UK hip hop veterans The Planets and Phoenix Da Icefire of Triple Darkness amongst others and US MC’s Ikwon (Miami) & Digital Martyrs (Bay Area) and heavy production from Ancient Arts, Ayman Raze (The Planets), J Zak, Quest himself and others. The first single “Legend of a Fighter” is a soulful summer track, an ode to the artists’ various inspirations, including a tribute to the recent uprisings across the world. The next single “Move On, Elevate” is a cinematic journey through grimy city life with Quest declaring its time to ‘Move on and elevate past the madness’. “Opium Warz” with Phoenix Da Icefire & Phonetikz will surely cater to fans of dark Wu-esque music.
Quest has performed around the UK at such venues as London’s Excel centre and Trafalgar Square and festivals up and down the country, always injecting energy and passion into his shows. In late 2009 Quest hooked up with popular video directors Global Faction to film videos for ‘Element of Truth’ and ‘The Quest’ and plans to release a video for his new project in the coming months.
Although he maintains a relatively low profile, the work he has put out has been hard hitting and influential. Fans of quality hip-hop and music in general will surely appreciate this latest offering. The project is available for FREE download, alternatively Quest would appreciate your extra support by purchasing the LIMITED EDITION digipak CD copy from: www.quest-rah.bandcamp.com.

Mr Flix is a South London based artist who grew up on Hip Hop from an early age. Whilst many around him worshipped the commercial scene, Flix stayed true to the foundations of real hip hop, drawing influence from the likes of Jedi Mind Tricks and Immortal Technique. Now he looks set to write his own chapter in the musical world, with insane flows and metaphors which would leave Mensa scratching their heads, he is about to arrive and stay for good. There is no doubting that Mr. Flix is all up in the mix!
Debuting on the scene with his Stealf produced EP “Conceptualized Deceit”, it seems that Mr. Flix is already going from strength to strength. The EP features Loop Genius & Roskrypz, as well as New York rapper St Laz. Flix looks set to blow as he has a busy schedule planned for the rest of 2011, with further releases expected. With a number of established artists already said to be ready to collab with Mr Flix, it looks as though this is just the beginning for an artist who just simply wants to make authentic Hip Hop.

Continuing on their quest to change the face of UK hip hop Foreign Beggars make a hugely anticipated return to the big stage for this exclusive London show!
2009s Contact (3,000,000+ views on YouTube), taken from their third album, saw them combine furious London-fueled flows with Noisia’s crunching electro backbone – the start of what has become Foreign Beggars new obsession; fusing hip hop with dance music.
Foreign Beggars more recent output has been a genre-defying blend of their former machinations and speaker-busting, floor rumbling dance music produced by the hottest artists around, delivering a succession of incredible collaborations. While each release seems to bring greater success and critical acclaim; the incredible Beggatron Remixed album which featured the likes of Plastician, Bar9, Noisia and more. The Beatport chart topping Scatta with Skrillex, the anthem that is Lines In Wax with Flux Pavilion and the recent team up with Vato Gonzalez Badman Riddim out on Ministry Of Sound is finally seeing the group crossover into the mainstream, receiving heavyweight radio support and reaching no.6 in the official UK charts.
Their legendary live show has left crowds fevered and frenzied as the group seamlessly blend grime, dubstep, drum and bass and rap music together with the a ferocity more akin to heavy metal than a hip hop show.
This year sees the Beggars releasing The Harder They Fall EP, the first in a three part series produced by some of the most in-demand artists on the planet. Featuring six Foreign Beggars collaborations with Alix Perez, Mensah, Lazer Sword, Medison, Ruckspin, Black Sun Empire and Skrillex, their debut Never Say Die EP hits the 140bpm tempo straight between the eyes, offering a range of styles and flavours that could loosely be described as dubstep, without the superfluous connotations that the mere name of the genre now evokes.
