As a follow up and to promote their debut mixtape: UK Runnings Presents: ‘Urban Poetry Vol I’. We see the release of a fresh new music video to provide a smooth visual to the laid back track ‘Cosmic Thieves’. This music video sees the two talented emcees who make up Collective Undergroud working together with their good friends at ‘Sick Guy Films’ to release a music video that is a little different to the hood videos the two have featured in previously as Solo Artists. Inspired by the visual style of Blackstar and Mos Def’s official music videos and videos of that era, and as the original instrumental to the track is ‘Thieves in the Night’ by ‘Black Star, they saw it fit to move in this direction. So peep this video brought to you by UK Runnings, Sick Guy Films and hosted by Black Budget Entertainment. Scientist and Soundwave are Collective Underground.

Chess Move Cartel brings you “Intricate Moves Vol 1” the first in a series of dedicated Scratch D/Turntablism albums.
Think along the lines of the 1995 ‘Return of the DJ’ album series (the first all dj/all scratching, turntablist album) but with
“Intricate Moves” the whole album is dedicated to one DJ alone. Expect Hip Hop beats covering a wide span of styles
laced with Production & Cuts by DJ JabbaThaKut from the Chess Move Cartel.
Chess Moves are currently working with more DJ’s on the series and Volume 2 has already been completed by DJ GrazzHoppa
and is scheduled for release later this year.’Intricate Moves Vol 2′ will be released on Def Jam/Island Records Digital Distribution.

Following on from a stream of sick releases over the past 6 months, Chess Move Cartel are back on their grind in 2012 with this new release.
Chess Move Cartel introduce another member of the team for this project ‘DJ A.D.’ Check out the beats he crafted and produced and get to know his samples choices that were pulled from the crates. To compliment the sound structure DJ JabbaThaKut steps to the wheels as only he does to lace the joints with turntablism precision to add that extra layer of sonic variety.
Naturally Hip Hop Rap Joints gotta have the MC’s up in there and the voices can be heard from the duo that make up Shadowstar Boxing Academy which are of course: MC Oneline and Shadowstar Boxer.
