MC Jin is getting ready to return with his first full length album titled XIV:LIX dropping on October 19, 2014 (which is the 10-year anniversary of his debut album The Rest Is History.) Here we have the first single off XIV:LIX titled “Chinese New Year”.
After his reign as everyone’s favorite Freestyle Friday champion, Jin was signed to Ruff Ryders and released his debut album “The Rest Is History” in 2004. In that time Jin also began acting and had a big role in the blockbuster action movie “2 Fast 2 Furious.” After his rise to fame in the U.S., Jin returned to his motherland of China/Hong Kong to build his international fan base. He became a huge Chinese pop star, starring in Chinese films and television, getting various endorsement deals, and even releasing a few albums in Chinese that hit #1 in Hong Kong.
Jin is heading full force with his come back album XIV:LIX. He will also be starring in the upcoming Martin Scorsese film “Revenge Of The Green Dragons” which will also release this fall.
