Thirstin Howl The 3rd has released a new video for “Japan Style” which features the polo king of Japan, Dak-Lo. Filmed on the streets of Tokyo and featuring the Lo-Life’s of Japan (as well as a bonus cameo from Meyhem Lauren) it’s an explosion of Ralph Lauren and the Brooklyn Hard Rock in an entirely exotic setting.
The video (which originally premiered via Earmilk) was filmed while on an international speaking tour promoting his book, Bury Me With The Lo On(co-authored by Tom Gould and released by Victory Journal). Speaking on the experience Howl commented that “the style and fashion over there is just like New York, done to perfection and passed down to the children.”
The track (which is produced by Young Lo) appears on ‘Skillmatic’, the latest album from Thirstin Howl The 3rd. A successful return from the rhyme vet with appearances from Master Fuol (Lyricist Lounge TV Show), Prodigy (Mobb Deep), Sticky Fingaz (Onyx), U.G. (Cella Dwellas), Shabaam Sahdeeq, Meyhem Lauren, Spit Gemz, Rack Lo and more. Beats come courtesy of such notables as Domingo (Kool G Rap, Fat Joe), U.G., Will Tell (Sadat X, R.A. The Rugged Man), Marc Spekts, W.A.T.E.R, Anger Bangers and Fes Uno.
