Check out the latest album ‘Rise Of A King’ from Huddersfield rapper Spida Lee which dropped back in October. ‘Rise Of A King’ is his 2nd official album with a majority of the production from China’s Natural Doc other producers featured are Hash Finger, Brutal Artistry, illuzual and Spida also shows us his production skills.
The album features the dope joint ‘The Cypher’ featuring rappers from Spida’s ends Kd, Billy Starks, Lost Props, Scriptors, Eskar, Gen, T Mac, Tazer, Jahrel Mission and Krankit all killing it.
With the soulful sounds of singer Sara Lasoul featuring on the tracks ‘Fuck The Hype’ and the uplifting ‘Keep Ya Head Up’ and Spida’s 15 year old daughter Jaydee makes an appearance on the track ‘So Real’. Add to the mix reggae artist D Bo General on ‘No Competition’ then you have an album full of head-nodding flavour.
Apologies to my man Spida Lee for sleeping on this, don’t you lot do the same! If you like 90s Boom Bap Hip Hop beats, soulful sounds and conscious lyrics then this is for you.
