You may remember we posted the first in a series of five beat tapes and remixes from Pragmatic Theory’s Keith Price, well if you don’t you can click these words to be taken to his first tape. The series is a mix of beat tapes, remixes and vocal originals. We were big fans of both Pragmatic Theory’s earlier releases, and Keith Price’s, and this is no different. Like before Keith uses SP 505, overdubs, no sequencing, vinyl, a turntable and nothing else. A breath of fresh air indeed. This release includes remixes of Lauryn Hill and Dead Prez, and whilst I really don’t care for the content in the remix of ‘Get Bitches’ (the name says it all), I can see why he used the instrumental. As before if you love some really well done cuts, and haven’t forgot that a DJ doesn’t mean a dude that turns their iPod on and off, then I suggest you get this. Also! If you download it, you get a bonus track. Man’s just giving it away, quite literally.
