New single from Dallas based producer Gensu Dean & Fresno’s finest Planet Asia. The track “Chuck Berry” features Shawn Pen and revolves around an agressive rock riff that Dean created on his trusty SP1200. The song appears on the forthcoming album “Abrasions” to be released on Mello Music Group February 26th.

Those that know the Blue Daisy of acclaimed album ‘The Sunday Gift’; be prepared for a shock to the system.
The North London rapper and producer releases this record under the Dahlia Black pseudonym – a collective formed with long time collaborator Hey!Zeus.
Beating a new path for UK hip hop, Blue Daisy has been inspired by the creativity in US to take to the microphone. The new unorthodoxy and weirdness has re-energised him. ‘I feel the way I felt when I first started making music’. Danny Brown, the Black Hippy Movement – they left him inspired to contribute for LDN.
‘SpaceGhostPurrp is making hip hop sampling trains. So, I thought, don’t watch what everyone else is doing in the UK. Put this out.’
On Dahlia Black (with beats by Blue Daisy) the tone is pitch black. They ‘see the light when the clock strikes midnight’. Psychedelic and perverted is how this rolls; ‘suicide girls in restraints put a 2c1 on her tongue’ is a typical bar by Hey!Zeus.
They sent the tune to Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus video director Ruff Mercy, who instantly wanted to be involved, adding his sinister artwork to images of them.
The Purist returns… This time enlisting Danny Brown, Sean Price, Havoc (mobb deep) , Big Twinz & CAS to compliment his strict vinyl x MPC only production formula.
