Instrumentally this is pretty chill, with some nice breaks and fun samples to it. Lyrically and vocally it’s a clever piece of rap, with a definite positive vibe to it. If I had a car I’d drive around to all day, and long into the night time too. This is the 3rd single off of his new mixtape Change For The Better dropping in May.
Edward Scissortongue performs Fluids live on BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire.
The track is lifted from his debut album ‘Better.Luck.Next.Life’ and is produced by Lamplighter which is OUT NOW on High Focus Records on CD, digital & Limited edition vinyl.

Jay Dee RIP
Winter Blues is the latest EP from Mohammad Escrow, and he’s used a pretty eclectic mix of producers to rap over. Some beats range from dubstep (Skrillex need not apply), 60’s pop samples, interesting cuts and drums, all mixed with some more familiar sounding hip-hop production that you might expect.
Content-wise, Winter Blues is an EP that is very much about the MC himself, mixing up the externel of what’s happening, and reflecting on it’s internel effect on Mohammad Escrow as a person. I’m a big fan of his vocal tone, and it reminded me of Evidence in his delivery, although Escrow definitely has his own style down.
Just so you don’t forget, the beat makers featured were: Hi Fi, D.S, Andrew Michael and DJ Dystrakted.

On today James ‘J-Dilla’ Yancey’s birthday, The Doctor’s Orders are pleased to share news of the only official UK Dilla tributes, held at the weekend in London and Manchester.
Both events were sold out to capacity and The Doctors Orders would like to take this chance to thank all of those that not only helped put the events together, the DJs that all gave up their time for free but all of you that came and celebrated the life of a true Hip-Hop genius.
A note from Ma Dukes “I wanted to extend this my appreciation first to Spin Doctor & his team and to all faithful crew that have always supported this event and therefore the Yancey family and the foundation. One Love! Ma Dukes”
Approx £9000 was raised for the J-Dilla Foundation & Lupus UK
THANK YOU!
JAY DEE RIP!
Knob Creek features verses from JustMe, Sheisty Khrist with Marcus Wilkerson on the hook. Jaq handles the beat production.
JustMe said, “Knob Creek didn’t start off as a song about racism, but when you try to do a song about Kentucky, it’s liable to come up. It may manifest itself in less aggressive ways, but it’s still alive and kickin’. If I may propose a toast…to finding unity in diversity!”
Directed by Deacon the Villain (Cunninlynguists). JustMe’s album “Full Disclosure” is available wherever you buy music.

‘Church’ is the brand new track from Rich Malone is produced by Audible Doctor of The Brown Bag AllStars. The Chicago-based Rich Malone has very high hopes for his future in Hip-Hop and as you’ll probably agree, this talented emcee is a name to watch out for! He has been writing, rhyming and crafting his skills for the past ten years, using the frigidly cold Midwestern backdrop as his inspiration. Rich Malone is a name to het used to! Make sure you check this out.
