Bishop Nehru feat. Que Hampton – Misruled Order (Official HD Video) @BishopNehru

Posted by hiphoplifeandtimes on February 10, 2013
Posted in: Music Videos. Leave a comment

16-year old Bishop Nehru is a young cat with an old school  flow and complex lyrics & rhyme schemes. The young Rockland County,  NY native is more than just a rapper though – he also produces music, as well as directs and edits videos – he does a lot of his own beats and  videos.

For Bishop Nehru’s newest video off his mixtape Project “Nehruvian”, he recruits fellow Rockland County native Que Hampton for a self-directed video for their collabo, “Misruled Order.”

Bishop chose his  name from inspiration taken from Tupac’s character in the movie “Juice,” noting that the character of Bishop inspires him “to go out and get  mine, you’ve got to earn respect.” The Nehru is taken from the the  former prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, who worked closely  with legendary peacemaker Ghandi but never got the credit for his work.

themynors

Introducing the lead off single from their impending mixtape release, Black Lung, Connecticut producer/emcee duo, THE M.Y.N.O.Rs, are proud to present “What They Don’t Know.” It was a song from the iconic Alicia Keys which inspired the duo, made up of Dan Piccochi (DP) and Michael Berube (MJ) to write and produce this solid introduction, which is currently being worked to college radio.

Using “Love is Blind” from The Element of Freedom album by the iconic Alicia Keys, the M.Y.N.O.R.S twisted the concept of the original to fit their requirements and tell the tale of their fight to be recognized as MCs. “People would joke about us behind our backs saying we weren’t good enough and say we should quit trying to make it in the music business”, explains MJ. “Yet, all those years it was just fuel added to our fire and gave us more ambition to make a career in music,” concludes DP.

With a strong visual to back up “What They Don’t Know” the duo are confident that their sound and their full appreciation of the Hip-Hop culture will resonate with Hip-Hop fans everywhere.

weexist

Gone Wallace has an old school style mixed with a future sound. With his use of soulful samples, Gone discusses current world issues and future dreams.

We Exist is a call to attention aimed at the entire music industry. Using Steve Jablonsky- sampled beat, Gone Wallace voices his disdain with the music industry and the world as a whole. Gone’s main objective is to inform the public that something better exists and is prepared to restore order. This is the first single from Gone Wallace’s High Renaissance II Mixtape, which drops on February 19th, 2013!
