Doc Brown came to the attention of UK Hip Hop heads as a member of the sick collective Posionous Poets back in 2002 with fellow members Reveal, Lowkey, Tony D, Therapist, Stylah and DJ Snips. All the fore mentioned went on to cement their names in UK Hip Hop, however Doc has gone on to establish himself within the UK comedy scene using his rapping skills for Comedic purposes appearing on national TV numerous times.

Lazy Habits “Kicking The Clouds” is released on 7th December and is accompanied by this music video shot in Jan/Feb during the band’s official 2015 Asia Tour. It showcases the dynamic personality behind the music and epic live shows, as well as their ever-growing fan base in the Far East. The song is the first track on the new album highlighting the evolution in the sound the band have gone through, that includes heavy rolling drums and synth bass to contrast the string quartet and harp.

Filled with ‘aggressively pounding beats and brass’ (Altsounds) alongside slick lyrics about modern British life, Lazy Habits master infectious hooks and clever arrangements, making their stage show the benchmark others aim for and are one of the tightest and most powerful live performances in the UK.

The six-piece band have played shows at legendary venues including Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Roundhouse and KOKO as well as selling out Jazz Café and the 100 Club.
