‘Scarecrows’ by Telemachus ft. Roc Marciano gets the remix treatment from legendary DJ/Producer Harry Love!
FREE DOWNLOAD available now from www.ynr-productions.co.uk
Original version taken from the forthcoming Telemachus album ‘In The Evening’.
An extremely laid back and heavily soul influenced song to wake you up on this windy Spring morn (well if you’re living in Bristol, UK as well). Charmingly Ghetto has teamed up with schhmooth voiced, Brionne Wright to create a song all about the loss of love (ain’t that a kick in the teeth?). I’m always happy to hear hip-hop songs with full bands; and this song features Pinionist Deshawn Alexander, saxophonist, Brian Johnston, guitarist, Nick Cabrera and bass guitarist, Ronnie Lanzilotta. I like to see more hip-hop cats going back to the early days and incorporating live instruments again. Zach Capner’s done a really good job of putting all these elements together, and the result is song very reminiscent of Fun Lovin’ Criminals (if you don’t know who they are, shame on you).

The multi sensory club night that’s a treat for eyes and ears is on the move!
Europe’s (possibly the worlds) first monthly ALL audio visual party has already been growing from strength to strength as the incredible line up of resident VJs mix your favourite Hip-Hop, R&B, Funk, Soul & Disco videos in five hours of audio visual splendor. Now they have been head hunted to take up residency once a month at Camden’s legendary Jazz Café.
Whether it be Michael Jackson walking down the light up sidwalk to the disco thump of ‘Billie Jean’, Jay-Z & Kanye flying round in a model packed Maybach, Tyler The Creator holding a roach or Rick James trying to win his girl back after a heavy night out, videos really did kill the radio star and are now as much of how we experience music as the music itself. We now take those videos blending them, and so much more, into a trail blazing nightlong experience that is sure to set London alight.
The crack line up of resident VJs (Video-Jockeys) have years of experience in rocking parties up and down the country and around the world so you know that you’re in safe hands for this brand new experience as they bring you sights and sounds from Hip-Hop to, Soul, House to Disco and way beyond.
DJ Woody is one of the pioneers of the UK’s AV scene. This world champion Hip-Hop DJ has been working away creating his own videos that he scratches into an incredible collage of sight and sound that has to been seen and heard to be believed.
Through his iconic The Doctor’s Orders parties Spin Doctor has been responsible some of the best parties in London for the last 7+ years and with MAV that trend is set to continue at a pace!
The latest addition to the line up of residents now we have moved is the brilliant DJ Matman. A former DMC champion and one half of London’s Droppin’ Science crew he has the lethal combination of party rocking skills & technical ability which is going to be even more evident with his video sets!
DJ Rags is one of the team behind the successful Livin’ Proof Hip-Hop parties as well as being one a resident on NTSad the Boiler Room – the seminal online streaming broadcaster where he aired his first ever VJ set.
CWD is our man from the land down under. Since taking up residence on our shores he has been making surfable sized waves with his sets at parties like Bump and his stream of video online video mixes.

For those of you keenly aware, we posted TixCity and Styler’s song ‘Take Care My Brother’ earlier today. A song they had written for their brother who’s recently been shipped off. Well since this morning they’ve released a video to accompany the track. It’s got a nice home video vibe to it, which makes perfect sense since it’s about sibling love. Like I said in the previous post; whether you’re a fan of the army and military or not, you really can’t fault a song with this much love and respect in it. Appreciate it for what it is, a dedication and tribute to a brother.

Love this song; you can tell these dudes are true hip-hop nerds to the fullest!
If you fancy copping the song for free then follow these ill-fated links to Soundcloud.
When you say Airklipz, people that know of his work instantly say “Lyrics” but recently they’ve also been known to say “Flow” as well. An ever evolving south London native, his style seems to be based on old school structure but heavily influenced by the new school swing. Really versatile, he has work on various genre breaking projects and now after constant experimentation and fine tuning, has happened upon his sweet spot.
Parachute Life 1 & 2, offer the listener a chance to get to fully understand the self confessed “90’s Era” addict and his love of double time rappers like “Twista” and “Bone Thugs n Harmony” are evident throughout. Influences include Nas, Terra Firma, Styles P & Curren$y and his message is simply “REALITY RAP” and only chooses to rap about actual events which happen around him. Not one to be seen with the flashy chains or cliche models in videos and pics, he wants instead to be recognized and respected for his talent and impressive workrate (Over 10 mixtapes have been released over the last 5 years).
An independent artist under “Undadog Entertainment” (a label he and top producers RedIRob & Jammy Git co-founded in 2007), all his music is handled in – house (Production, Recording, Mixing and Mastering) at Kennel Studios phase 2 in Lewisham, London. He has worked with various producers (Dr Kay, Dj Chris, Dj Dan Hills, Mo Productions, Sleepy Time Ghost, Ghosttown, Eddie Ethics, S.I.M.O, Hitman, G.O.L.D, Jimmy Screech, Dj Smokey, Trackdealer and many others) and too many artists most notably Jimmy Screech, Legz Diamond, 4MA, Yemi Bolatiwa and Shaadie (to name a few). All his music is available online at http://airklipz.tk and Parachute Life is available on itunes.
