A classic DOCUMENTARY!! I caught this about Public Enemy again on BBC4 last night and thought this would be a perfect addition to our classics collection. PE are my all time favourite Hip Hop group so I went on a hunt this morning to find it on you tube, and as luck would happen I found it! Hip Hop legends….ENJOY!
The video came with this disclaimer “Its a battle trying to get it to stay anywhere because of the COPYRIGHTS and LICENSES. Enjoy it while you can.”

Hailing from North West London, 22-year-old Tevyn has been singing since his primary school days, but took up rapping in his late teens and has since turned to music for self expression.
Tevyn J uses ‘Know Me’ to give listeners a glimpse into his behaviour, thoughts and way of life. Along the lines of “don’t judge a book by it’s cover,” Tevyn employs the chorus to outline the importance of looking beyond the surface. The song is taken from his forthcoming mixtape, ‘Then And Now’, which aims to show the difference between his younger mind state and his current one; along with opening eyes and minds along the journey.
Despite prior planning to collaborate with another MC, Tevyn J instead teams up with Minarmy & Birmingham resident SNY for the production and vocals the entire track himself.

Here’s an instrumental from UK producer Hermit The Slob who has worked with the likes of Cyrus Malachi, Phoenix Da Icefire and more.
Mr.ivory Snow’s second album #RUGGED embodies the essence of hiphop. Take a journey as he explains his view on the world around him. Everything happens in threes so the first third of the album is about “not having money”, second part is about “selling your soul for the money and the consequences of success” and third is about “losing money but regaining your true identity as a person”.
