search of fame (2)

Rapper and producer Illusion has unveiled the music video to his debut single, ‘Search For Fame’.

The artist is a member of the Hereford collective D.R. Clique, who have attracted support from BBC Introducing and perform regularly in the area. Among Illusion’s fellow members is his brother Small Morris, the guest feature on ‘Search For Fame’. Illusion takes centre stage on the track, with two rapid-fire verses and the production, using his beat-making alias Divine Compositions.

Zimbabwe-born spitter Illusion offers not only a glimpse of what to expect from his future solo work, but also the debut D.R. Clique group album, ‘Commentary to Fame’, which is on its way very soon.

Animated video for the 14KT track ‘Five & Ten’, From the 14KT album “Nickel & Dimed” https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/nic…

14KT said about the song: “This is one of the few times that I’ve written most of the verse in my head. I was reading ECCLESIASTES 2:17-23 and that scripture was right in alignment with how I felt as an artist at the time. I wrote this off of the frustration of releasing instrumental projects in my profession. I’ve been approached/treated MANY times in very unprofessional and disrespectful ways. I wanted to be a voice for all of my producer peers who deal with this frustration and to serve as a notice for up and coming producers/beat makers.”
