The Jazz Jousters are back with that Jazz sampled Hip Hop dopeness. The collective of beatsmiths return with another addition to the Millennium Jazz archive as the collective pay homage to the Alto Saxophonist and Hard Bop style veteran, Julian Edwin Adderley aka Cannonball Adderley (September 15, 1928 – August 8, 1975).
Unknown to the group at the time Gadget suggested this tribute as that it was Adderley’s Birthday just one week ago testerday, which makes this session that little bit more special for some of the Jousters.
This compilation is a 100% instrumental affair where all involved chose to sample a particular piece from Adderley’s archive. Contributions came in from, RickMal, Bones The Beat Head, Es-K, SmokedBeat, Stay Classy, B 3 N B i, Mr. Moods, Pawcut, DJ Mentos and Gadget.

“Colors” is a beat series produced by The Tyrant (WideTrax Productions and member of The Autocons with One Be Lo, DMT, and GasMaskeDaily). Each release of the project will be a specific color and the music will then capture the emotion, feeling, and philosophy represented by that color.
The first release of the five part series will be the color black. Black is associated with power, elegance, formality, death, evil, and mystery. Black is typically associated with fear and the unknown. It is also considered to be very formal, elegant, and prestigious.
