Gino The Ghost – Basics (Feat. Isaac Castor & Jon Connor) (Prod. Kinetic) @GinoTheGhost @IsaacCastor @JonConnorMusic @Kinetic_Beats

THEREALONE

I was a bit worried that Gino The Ghost’s awesome name might be the only good thing about him, and I’d end up being a disappointed kid at Christmas. Thankfully that wasn’t the case, and GTG delivers with some controlled and East Coast tinged verses, accompanied by the vocals skills of Isaac Castor (formely known as Gameboi) and Jon Connor, and production from the ever versatile Kinetic (whatever, why pretend that we’re not already fans?).

Two reasons we’re putting this video up. 1) Not all hip-hop comes from English speaking countries (OMIDAZ NO WAI). 2) French rapping is probably the coolest sounding MCing known to hip-hop, well top 3 for sure anyway. Whilst I can only understand Evidence’s part, it doesn’t matter what language this is as you can hear the obvious style and talent in this song that’s displayed by both Aral & Sauzé. I wish I could understand French further than ‘I like basketball’ and ‘My name is Aimee’, whilst I get the general gist of it, if either Aral & Sauzé would like to email us and give me an explanation then that would be very nice.

Bandcamp page sugar sweet.

Yes, yes, yes! It may be angry weather in London town this afternoon, and sure my homie and I might be too scared to leave our flat for fear of getting soaked like drowned rats, but hooohooo don’t this song by Sivion (featuring production by TheARE and cuts by DJ Aslan) make me forget that. Such a positive jumping track. I don’t even care that it’s the middle of October.

Ladies & Gentlemen” is the first single off the recently released “Group Therapy” album on ILLECT Recordings.

A pretty catchy and instant head-bopper (yeah, yeah) from Jamaica, Queens local MC Verse Essential, with the production talenst of Kidd Called Quest (always a fan of that man, mayyyyne). It’s reminiscent of early Nas, as the tagline and blurb will tell you, but that’s never a bad thing.

If like me, you need a clean version of this song to play at your cousin’s 5th Birthday, because you uncle doesn’t have the musical edge he used to; then you can download it minus the naughty words via Kidd Quest’s Bandcamp.

Most people have done it, and most people have had it done to them. “Yeah, yeah I’m not wasted though yeah. I just wanna see you blahablahblah nah I did have like 3 or 7 drinks though”. This video is from E&D TV featuring Flabz, and I’m dedicating it to all the people that got battered, and called their exes last night. Good works guys, good work.

yesterday

The 2nd single “Yesterday” (produced by Knoxx) is Sarge bringing back that BBQ/Party in The Park/Classic Hip Hop feel with a new school flavour through the use of melody. content, and cadences.

Sgt. Over’s forthcoming EP, “School Of Hard Knoxx,” (dropping 29/10/13 for free) displays the lyrical prowess Sarge is known for as well as his ability to deliver a bigger and bolder sound.
