One of the leading names in the UK hip hop scene for the past several years, North London’s Melanin 9 is set to release a new solo album “Old Pictures” in the Spring of 2017.
A member of the highly rated Triple Darkness crew, his position as one of the country’s most gifted lyricists is well established and he brings all of his verbal dexterity to the table in this sick new joint “Polaroid”.  Produced by Californian duo Walterwarm and Cowode, it is the first single to be taken from the new album and features British upcomer Karl Sage.  The accompanying video has been released today, filmed and edited by Melanin 9 himself.

After being one of the few American artists to perform at this years Hip Hop Kemp Festival in Czech Republic and headlining the Zabij Nude Festival in Poland, 60 East returned to Los Angeles and released the West Coast anthem “The Origin” featuring California Hip Hop legends Sly Boogy and Blu of Blu and Exile.

Off the back of this highly successful release, 60 returns with another visual this time featuring one of Brooklyn’s most prolific writers Skyzoo, who has recently released a new project alongside with Apollo Brown under Mello Music Group.

The song captures the essence of the title ‘Enemies 2 Friends’ in a very direct but through provoking way, especially in the video (also featuring model Krystle Lina.) The layed back soulful beat almost makes the tragedy of the tale harder to watch, but also sits perfectly alongside 60, and Skyzoo’s flows.
