2013 was a good year for the homies over at Rhyme Pad Records and 2014 looks to be kicking off the same way with the upcoming EP ‘Snap Out of It’ from Mr Melta and producer Remulak coming soon on CD and download.
Here’s a look at the title track from Mr Melta and Remulaks new EP featuring label mate Stakka Lyrics of Delegates of Culture. ‘Snap Out of it’ features Melta and Stakka going in over the head nodding piano influenced beat from Remulak, with bars directed at those that follow fashions and instead of following trends, being true to yourself and keep it original.
This is a dope track and we’re definitely looking forward to the full release here at HHL&T. Blunted Astronaut Records enjoyed a year of prolific releases in 2013 but they’re not gonna stop there. They’re ringing in the new year with a brand new 12″ single by Blunted Astro’s very own DJ Doom and long-time collaborator Blacastan.
“Deep Breath”, the blazing title track, features O.C. of D.I.T.C. At the healm of the classic SP1200, Doom masterfully weaves his samples into arrangements that both Blac and O.C. can’t help but fill with their trademark lyricism and full clip deliveries. “Passive Aggression” on the flip side adds potency to this highly explosive mixture, and the addition of DJ Tha Boss on the cuts provides the primer. To top it all off, Doom provides a solid remix of “Deep Breath” which cements this release.
Mixed by Eddie Sancho from legendary D&D Studios, tracks include instrumental, TV, and clean versions as standard.

‘Another Year Gone By’ is the latest official music video from UK based hip hop artist Just P. The video is to a track that he recorded on New Years Eve 2014 specially for the event. The video was also recorded on the same day (New Years Eve 2014) in London and incorporates clips from videos that Just P released throughout 2013, while featuring new shots of P reminiscing the year gone by in a scenic local park.
