YES! Finally the long awaited release from UK emcee Genesis Elijah dropped this evening. Now if you follow us closely you will be aware of our love for Genesis and if you were to sit the whole HHL&T team down I’m pretty sure he would appear in all our top three UK emcee lists, man he’s your favourite rappers, favourite rapper, Period!

Well…… we can tell you the wait for this release wasn’t in vain, 20 tracks deep laced with lyricism, switched up flows, styles and dope production there is something here for everybody, even if you aint a massive fan of Hip Hop you will find something here you’ll like, TRUST!

‘Private Moments In Public’ has features from Gorgeous George, Fliptrix, Miss Emmy and the seriously banging ‘Underground King’ posse cut featuring UK heavyweights Fallacy, Jokerstarr, S.Kalibre, Rob Kelly, Reveal, Theme, Cappo, Ramson Badbonez and Iron Braydz. With a majority of the production from the talented Pastor Dutchie. Now I could wax lyrical about this Genesis Elijah release for days, but it’s best to let his music do the talking.

Here is the full 3 part mini-movie for Chicago artist Babyface Monster’s album “The Making of A Monster”. It stars up and coming actress Lana Smithner as the femme fatale and Kevin Hope as the victim. The 4 minute feature written, directed, and edited by Yusef Day.

The love story begins as a late night rendezvous that quickly turns into a robbery/homicide to retrieve unknown information. This artistic piece is the perfect platform to introduce BFM’s new album as 3 of his hit singles, “Tonight”, “Im In Dat”, Howl at the Moon” are showcased as the soundtrack of the film. ‘DELTA93’, the much anticipated debut extended play by Zambian rapper ‘CHAA’. With pre EP releases such as the freeverse ‘Dunkin Donuts’ and critic/ pundit endorsements such as a placement on the much acclaimed  ‘Praverb.Net’  Ultimate Female Emcee List (http://www.praverb.net/2014/03/female-emcees.html).

‘DELTA 93’ is guaranteed a noteworthy reception.  The EP was entirely produced by Canada based producer ‘Teck- Zilla’ of STR8BUTTAH, entirely recorded at Zero DB studios in Lusaka, Zambia and entirely curated by Slam Dunk Records Zambia.

Zambian born and raised, CHAA has been making music since she was 16 years old and cites Missy Elliot, Jean Grae, Nitty Scott MC, Erykah Badu, Holstar, Nirvana and Tribe Called Quest as some of her many musical influences. Having worked with Zambian musical outfits and labels such as Equalize Music, So’Good Music and of course Slam Dunk Records; CHAA seeks to mature into a well seasoned artist and curator.
