African Born, Australian Raised Hip-Hop Artist Tich Lange is releasing the first single and title track, ‘Afreakan’ off his upcoming album. Tich has been plying his craft for many years, and on this new production he’s been in the studio with producer Anthony Hicks, who’s credits include Vanessa Amorosi’s ‘Absolutely Everybody’.
‘Afreakan’ is a play on words – A-Freak-An – derived from the word African. The song is an older rap that Tich had written & continued to perfect over the last couple of years.
The musical content of the song features grass roots African sounds to give that ‘Afreaken’ feel. Rarely do you hear those African rhythms with urban hip-hop used so effectively.
