With both him and Black Thought being in my top five, and the wicked display of lyricism, this song always did a lot for me. Today being my fathers birthday, there isn’t much I can give him, but the least I can do is pay homage. I hone my skills everyday to live up to the name and craft my own. Still, pound for pound, you are the nicest… Ever. Happy Birthday, Pops, and everyone enjoy the “Super Lyrical” remix, me and my pops.”

After a long hiatus following the release of his “The Dope Compilation Mixtape Vol. 3” project, and a few scattered releases in between, NY’s resident lyricist and self-proclaimed “Best Rapper from Queens since Nas”, KrisRapsBetter is back with new music.

On this sobering cut over haunting production by Tahir, which originally provided the backdrop for Chance The Rapper’s “Everybody’s Something”, Kris displays his lyrical ability, easily weaving through the instrumental’s highs and lows while whetting the appetites of the masses for things to come.
