Our Baltimore brother Sullee J returns with the release of his latest visual “Inception II,” a follow-up to his 2011 release “Inception.”

The track serves to demonstrate why we’ve been long time supporters of Sullee here at HHLAT. The Get Fresh Studio directed video shows Sullee stepping into the light, both literally and figuratively, “I’m so sick of negativity, I’m done with any kind,” he raps.  Sullee says the new visual shows “who I am now, and how my focus has changed. . . I’d rather drown the struggle, than let the struggle drown me.

Produced by Jurrivh x Syndrome, the track is the latest single from his upcoming project ‘SPEAR’.

Check the NEW visual for the Configa produced banger ‘From the Soul’ featuring the legendary Craig G. The track is lifted from Newcastle producer Configa’s dope album “Configaration Volume 1” (Check my review here) released at the end of last year on Chuck D’s SlamJamz Records.

I was only bumping this joint the other day, thinking this deserves a visual and I wake up this morning to find Configa had only gone and done that for this dope track. What’s not to love about this joint? You got the super dope brass instrumentation that runs through it over Configa’s head nodding beat. Queensbridge veteran Craig G lacing it with lyricism, wordplay and the killer hook “From the Soul, through the lips, across the mic and out the speakers”

Tracks like this remind me why I love Hip Hop, DOPE!
