More guitars and keyboards in hip-hop please! Brum MC, SP.
Ooh now I don’t know if we’ve ever posted two videos at the same time, although I can’t remember what I did half an hour ago so we probably have. Both video are rad, and go perfectly with the tracks. Stressing at the fairground, and anxious driving. Sick videos and Ecid is an amazing MC from the Twin Cities. Get on the hype train, it’s leaving.

Last month we got an email from a Cleveland, OH (USA) rapper Asjislam. We got a bit backdated and didn’t get round to posting it sooner, but it’s got a lot of potential. You can’t deny the man’s passiona and drive, and his flow’s catchy. The way he deals with the subject matter he speaks on if pretty different too. You can check out all his stuff if you get those little fingers of yours clicking down there.
A dirt track from Insane Macbeth, featuring Reveal. The production’s nice and grimey, and the flow’s tight. Download it for free by clicking on the link below. Be proud of wherever you’re from!

This video came out just under a year ago, but I only recently found out about Redbeard and this genius of a track. If you’ve ever had to sign up to money-money job agencies, working 12 hours a week and making barely more than being on the dole (although that’s pretty crap too!) than you’ll know all about this song. It’s like they’re practically trying to force you onto the benefits que. Very funny and very witty.
The single is available from Redbeard’s bandcamp page. http://redbeard00.bandcamp.com/ which also includes 2 other tracks featuring Sonnyjim, Kosyne, Sk, Sam stealth and producer’s Jon Phonics and Wizard.
This Joint is Siiick !!
Food for thought
Hailing from the streets of South London comes rapper RUTHLESS, using immaculate vocabulary and a strong flow RUTHLESS stands out from the 21 century artist. His taste for music elaborates from Grime to RnB, his tracks dedicated to his mother speaks for the thousands of youths now a days, using a mixture of Bengali lyrics and artistic flow “Tears Of a Mother” has got him an establishment in the underground music scene.

Our fam and fellow contributor to HHLAT, Tricksta has just dropped his most recent mixtape ‘Underground Trendsetters’ that he’s mixed and hosted completely himself. Apparently Tricksta is a massive force in the UK and the underground hip-hop community when it comes to producing and promoting. I even heard talk that he runs one of the biggest hip-hop promotions company (Park Street PR) out there and he’s worked with big names like Genesis Elijah, Skriblah DanGogh from Terra Firma, Stealf & Mista Flix, Supar Novar, Late, Big Dutty Deeze and Sway. But I mean it could all be talk and I’m just exaggerating.
Or! This is a massive release featuring some of the best of up coming UK rap and grime artists, and a few you probably already know, and it’s only the beggining of a long list of release from the UK Runnings camp. To get your paws on this for the grand total of nada (I say that a lot don’t I?) check the link below.

The newest video ‘Preem’ from the Knoe FM camp, featuring Sonny & Qbert Skratch University Valedictorian, Zeke. Do I need to hype this? Golly gosh you should really know the routine by now when it comes to artists like this, but hey if you’re still not convinced from my ranting have a cheeky listen yourself.
Knoe FM’s new single featuring EatGood Records head honcho is a prelude to the upcoming debut EP that is expected to drop in late may. The EP is looking to raise the bar and expectations of Australian rap/hip hop. ‘FourthMove.’ is filled with neck snapping future boompap and a collective of international collaborations including more features from EATGOOD members.
You can also watch an earlier video from Knoe (produced by Alphanumeric) if you need any more reasons.
