A few days ago I rode off to catch up with Bristol MC, Bogart Bob, one half of the group QELD.  The other 50%, Jenre works mad single-dad-of-3 hours and couldn’t be there, but Bogart was kind enough to film a cheeky verse with me, and even let me listen to a few sneaky tracks from their fourth coming album ‘Kush Zombies. Although that’s all off the camera secrets, sorry kids. For now you’ll just have to settle for some exclusive bars instead.
Ten points if you know who’s beat he’s rhyming over.

For fans of Ed Scissortongue, Madlib, JPEG, Too Many T’s.

We’ll be hooking up with a pretty rad London-based duo over the next couple of weeks, but you’ll have to wait for that one. Until then why not check out our Youtube page to watch our over exclusives featuring The Scribes, Twizzy and Jinxsta JX. Hey, and why not subscribe to us why you’re there? Good idea.

Thanks once again to Bogart Bob for doing this.

Telephone is the second exciting leak from UK producer Wizard’s upcoming instrumental album Chill Pill 4.  Fresh from setting blogsphere alight via his two projects with youth broadcasting outlet SBTV (On The Bench mixtape, The Sour Mix) and EP with artist Sonnyjim (The Executive Branch), Wizard closes 2012 with the forth instalment of his chilled out beat series.

Expertly chopped vocals and guitar licks are laid up against Wiz’s pounding drums and lush synth work, the drums give it a hiphop feel, the stuttery hihats give it a trap element and the vocals are unmistakenably R&B…it makes for a genre bending ride which is what Wiz excels at.

Sultry hot and heavy visuals come courtesy of SPS Media UK and sets the mood perfectly for Wizards latest project Chill Pill 4 which drops December 17th on EATGOOD Records.

West London emcee Nekz drops some exclusive bars for Statemeant.

UK artists SAS release the video for ‘Drug Flow’, the second track from their highly anticipated Mixtape ‘Coming to America II’. Produced by The Last Skeptik, who has previously worked with the likes of Rewd Adams, Gorillaz, Sway, Kate Nash & Enter Shikari, ‘Drug Flow’ follows on from the first single from the tape, ‘Suave Life Remix’ which featured guest verses from new Harlem & Brooklyn luminaries Vinny Cha$e and Curt@!N$, the catchy sample of A$AP Rocky’s ‘Peso’ worked into the hook of ‘Drug Flow’ providing a keen transatlantic narrative. The video for ‘Drug Flow’, directed by Rufus Exton & shot at London’s foremost Hip Hop night Livin’ Proof, is the first visual offering from the Coming to America II project, which also includes features from Nicki Minaj, Emilio Rojas & €urogang.
