The second video from the much anticipated ILL-Legitimate crew album…ILL-Legitimate: The Album. Track Performed by Azrael and Anonymouz. Camera work by Conrad Mah.

ILL-LEGITIMATE are… Anonymouz, AOK, Azrael, Copasetic, DJ Booz, Nicky Scarfo, P Butta, Risskant and Sythe. A ten man international crew, their goal is beyond self-mastery or a mastery of the martial-arts and its elements; it is essentially a philosophy of existence focused on mental and spiritual growth, executed musically and in the streets in what they feel is the purest form possible…raw poetry delivered with force over timeless, robust beats.

steez

Prior to his untimely death Capital Steez participates in what could be his last recorded cypher. Steez stops by the Ethik pop up shop to spit some fire with fellow Brooklyn MC’s Wati Heru and Dirty Sanchez. Capital Steez left us way too soon but the beauty of music is that it lasts forever. R.I.P

Sequences 2.0

We’re big fans here at HHL&T of Hackney raised producer Gadget and here is just another example of why! ‘Sequences 2.0’ is the sequel to the 2010 release which featured 22 experimental productions. Three years later on New Years Day Gadget dropped these 14 tracks of instrumentals that were originally made for various sample challenges, beat showcase nights, while testing out new equipment or simply messing around in the ‘Audio Dojo’.

Expect something slightly darker and electronic compared to some of Gadget’s recent works, as the sequences bring you a complete mix up of break beats meets synthesizers and composition moving through.
