We’ve been long time supporters here at HHLAT of Bristol emcee Twizzy and when we heard that Evidence of Dilated Peoples invited him to jump on stage at the Bristol gig with the group whilst on their UK tour we were stoked for him. Twizzy was joined on stage by fellow Bristol rapper Blacksmith, check the footage above.
Twizzy has a brand new EP out, look out for that coming very soon on HHLAT!!
Legendary dancers, Roxrite and Lilou, create a short film series about iconic B-Boy and breakdancing crews from around the globe. This explosive style of dance is a way for dancers to compete, express their style and show pride for their local scene.
Kev Renegade lived through the lowest point in the UK B-Boy scene, where it was more of a punchline than a powerhouse. Rather than surrender to apathy, Kev formed the Soul Mavericks and fought for 10 years to get the respect London dancers deserved.

Lazy Habits “Kicking The Clouds” is released on 7th December and is accompanied by this music video shot in Jan/Feb during the band’s official 2015 Asia Tour. It showcases the dynamic personality behind the music and epic live shows, as well as their ever-growing fan base in the Far East. The song is the first track on the new album highlighting the evolution in the sound the band have gone through, that includes heavy rolling drums and synth bass to contrast the string quartet and harp.
Filled with ‘aggressively pounding beats and brass’ (Altsounds) alongside slick lyrics about modern British life, Lazy Habits master infectious hooks and clever arrangements, making their stage show the benchmark others aim for and are one of the tightest and most powerful live performances in the UK.
The six-piece band have played shows at legendary venues including Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Roundhouse and KOKO as well as selling out Jazz Café and the 100 Club.

Here’s the video for the lead single “Rubble Kings Theme (Dynamite)” from the soundtrack for the documentary Rubble Kings. The single, produced by Little Shalimar and featuring Run The Jewels, is available for instant download when you preorder the album on iTunes. Featuring performances from Bun B, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe, Ghostface Killah, Roxiny and others, the album will be available in stores on January 15, 2016 via Mass Appeal Records.
Directed by Shan Nicholson, this video was inspired by the Rubble Kings documentary and the works of the great Ralph Bakshi. The video depicts a story of street justice in the turbulent streets of the 1970’s South Bronx.
We follow “Little Nina”, who’s violently attacked by a rival gang on her way home from her grandmother’s house. What follows is an all out rumble between her gang, the fictionalized “Rubble Kings” and the “Javelins”. Run the Jewels alongside producer Little Shalimar provide the rugged soundtrack to the piece.
