After selling out their headline show at London’s KOKO this year in super quick time, due to public demand Run the Jewels has announced an additional huge London date for their upcoming tour at The Forum London on the 7th June 2015 – tickets are on sale 9.00am Friday 14th November.
El-P and Killer Mike, 2 of hip-hop’s most respected, credible & formidable artists, first joined forces in 2012 on Killer Mike’s classic album, R.A.P. Music, produced by El-P. Mike then appeared on El-P’s smashing solo album Cancer 4 Cure. That experience became a creative marriage resulting in the birth of the group Run the Jewels. After much anticipation, they released their self-titled debut album in 2013 on Fool’s Gold for free as a ‘thank you’ to fans.
Since then, Run the Jewels album has become one of the most celebrated hip hop acts of the past year and toured to worldwide acclaim. Now they’re back for Round 2 – RTJ2 – and it’s time to unleash fresh new music on the ravenous hordes. Freshly signed to Mass Appeal Records (the new label of rap legend Nas), RTJ2 is a boisterously brilliant and powerful follow up album featuring appearances from notable artists and producers including Zack De La Rocha (Rage Against the Machine), Travis Barker (Blink 182), BOOTS (Beyonce), Diane Coffee and more. The album dropped worldwide on October 27th as a free download via www.runthejewels.net and for sale in your favourite music store.
Following their sell out show last year in London at Electric Brixton, Run the Jewels proved that they are one of the most distinctive names in rap music. Now bringing their successful stateside tour to the UK in December with an extra added date in June next year, they will perform headline shows in both Manchester and London. Their critically acclaimed new live showcase will see the hip-hop duo preview the new material off their debut album Run The Jewels 2.
Last remaining tickets are on sale now for Manchester, tickets for the new London date at The Forum on 7th June 2015 are on sale 9.00am Friday 14th November. All available from gigst.rs/RTJ

The project is entirely produced by V-Don, an acclaimed artist who has worked with acts such as 2Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Jadakiss, Pusha T and more.
Bodega Bamz, half Dominican & half Puerto Rican, is the prominent face of the ‘Tanboys’, a collective of Hispanic MCs from Spanish Harlem, NY, that aim to unite the Latin community of hip-hop.

After uniting as Clockwork Indigo for their Clockwork Indigo EP, Brooklyn rap groups Flatbush Zombies and The Underachievers are preparing to hit the road for their joint Electric Koolade Experience tour in the UK next year.
Flatbush Zombies, part of the East Coast movement rose to prominence with their video for ‘Thug Waffle’ and debut mixtape ‘D.R.U.G.S’, they have worked with the likes of ASAP Rocky, Joey Badass and Action Bronson and have sold out all previous UK shows to date. The Underachievers, signed to Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder Records have also seen a wave of popularity this side of the pond selling out (and tearing up) London’s KOKO in March. Their debut album ‘Cellar Door: Terminus Ut Exordium’ was released in August to widespread acclaim from the likes of NPR, XXL and Complex amongst many others, also breaking from the underground and peaking at #11 in the US Rap charts.
The Brooklyn super-group made huge waves in the Hip-Hop world when they combined to release the Clockwork Indigo EP last week following up the single The Butterfly Effect, a raw hard-hitting piece of music that featured portentous tones, machine gun flow and razor sharp production. After touring together in the past and sharing similarities in both music and heritage, the collaboration made sense and the 5 track project is one of the freshest Hip-Hop releases this year. And now the record will be followed up with a very special UK tour.
After their epic 36-date-show around North America this year the new collective will be touching down in UK in March 2015, and are set to perform three select shows at Manchester Gorilla, Birmingham Temple and London KOKO. With both groups known for their wild high-energy live performances, their UK dates are simply not to be missed.

DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist are bringing their vinyl-only Renegades of Rhythm tour to the UK in February 2015 after covering North America this Fall.
These two world-renowned artists and turntablists are spinning the well-loved and well-worn vinyl from the record collection of the founding father of hip-hop and “Master of Records,” Afrika Bambaataa.
Shadow and Cut kicked off their North American tour this year with two sold-out shows at NYC’s Irving Plaza where Bambaataa himself watched from the balcony as the duo pulled his vinyl collection apart and mixed a nostalgic set that chronicled and honoured the genre that influenced so many others.
Check out Rolling Stone’s live review here. Read NPR’s Rational Conversation with DJ Shadow here. Check out the record rundown with Wax Poetics here. And read the in-depth interview sit-down that OkayPlayer did with Shadow, Cut and Bambaataa here.

‘El Wave’ is taken from Termanology’s upcoming ‘Shut Up And Rap’ Featuring M.O.P., Inspectah Deck, Skyzoo, Torae, Willie The Kid, Slaine & REKS and Production from Billy Loman, The Alchemist, Statik Selektah and more ‘Shut Up And Rap’ Will Be Released on 09-12-14 Via Brick Records
Can you move the crowd? You either can, or you can’t… No gimmicks, no glamour and no glitz, no kickstarters–just “Shut Up And Rap”! That’s exactly what Termanology is doing on his new album which will be released on 09-12-14—letting his music do the talking.
A lot has changed since Term initially cut his teeth with several highly acclaimed 12″ singles, and a debut album, Politics As Usual (2008), that included a MT. Rushmore like array of producers (DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Havoc, Alchemist, Hi-Tek, Buckwild & Nottz) which garnered tons of praise landing him in The Source’s “Unsigned Hype” and XXL’s “Show and Prove” columns. Since, he has released a collaborative effort with M.O.P.’s Lil Fame (Fizzyology) and two-projects under the moniker 1982 with his brother from another mother Statik Selektah. In addition, to appearing on BET’s “The Cypha” (with Mike Epps & French Montana), Term has also appeared on BET’s 106th & Park and BET’s “The Backroom” and MTV’s “Rapfix” with Sway and “Mixtape Monday.” However, the one constant throughout has always been Term’s ability to spit.
In 2014, Term spent the majority of his time on the road, touring relentlessly promoting his most recent release(s) ‘GOYA’ and ‘MAS GOYA’, in over twenty European countries on the Rap Mayhem Tour which featured Step Brothers Madchild, and DJ Revolution, and recent dates in Japan with DJ Tony Touch.
‘Shut Up And Rap’ boasts sixteen-tracks and features guest appearances from the legendary INS Deck, M.O.P.’s Lil Fame, Skyzoo, Torae, Slaine, Willie The Kid, DJ Doo Wop and REKS. Newcomer Billy Loman supplies the majority of the soundscape for Shut Up And Rap, and while the album does include big-name collaborations, Term comments on the subtle, but noticeable shift in how he put Shut Up And Rap together “a big part of this album is breaking new talent. There were times in the past I was focused on getting the biggest names on my albums, but this one was less about status and more about dudes who can just plain spit; regardless of their status.”
