Coming straight out of Manchester, UK with heaps of lo-fi attitude is Project APEX (AKA Dyslexis and Metrodome) with their debut track [Code Name] Eternal.
Backed with hard hitting, crunchy drum breaks, sub-low bass and gripping, disturbing chords; features Dyslexis spitting a touching, deep spoken word piece about the current state of music and a shit-hot guitar solo from Metrodome that any fan of Jimi Hendrix, Funkadelic and Frank Zappa can appreciate.
Taken from the forthcoming, self titled EP due for digital and limited edition 12″ vinyl release in Spring 2015 on Room2 Records.
Project APEX is built on the ethos of ‘Doing-It-Yourself’ and as they say; they donít fuck about!

Chox-Mak has been working with UK producer Dr.G for some time now and it all started with the first Audio Murder. Since then the mc/producer team have been putting singles and projects together as a unit and individually.

This series has been working well for the two but now its time to put the “Audio Murder” Saga to bed with End Of Days mixtape instead of an EP. This project features Young Dirty Bastard(Wu Tang),Ty Nitty  (Infamous Mobb/Love and Loyalty) and, frequent Dr.G collaborator, Hell Razah (Wu Tang/Sunz Of Man/Ghetto Govt.) to name a few.

This project is not the end of Dr.G and Chox-Mak as a team be sure to follow these two rising underground forces. Hip Hop is alive and you can hear it in The End Of Days.

Here’s another taste of what we can expect from Brooklyn beatsmith and legendary producer Domingo has in store for hip hop on Feburary 17th. Domingo’s new project is actually a compilation of unreleased songs and beats he has produced over the years behind the boards.

The album boasts a lineup of some of hip hop’s elite legends such as Kool G Rap, Krs-1, Rakim, Channel Live, and many more. He has given a sneak peak at what’s to come with this gem by fellow Brooklynite’s Sean Price and Rustee Juxx entitled “All Time Great”.
