For those of you that have been following this series with us at HHL&T,Here is the final episode of “The World Is Watching” a six-episode basketball documentary directed by Rik Cordero and narrated by legendary New York City filmmaker Spike Lee. The film features prominent teenage athletes competing in a New York City Basketball tournament called Battle of the Boroughs.
It features the best up and coming basketball players in New York City including rising star Maurice Harkless, currently playing for the Orlando Magic. As the players push their bodies to the limit, they must also live up to the expectations of their coaches, their families and their boroughs.
A really nicely mixed release from Camacho, with beats comprised mostly of 90’s cuts and samples. It’s done really well, and Camacho has a lot of flow.
Also is it just me that finds it funny that everyone’s ‘dressed up’ like they’re from the 90’s, when everyone does that nowadays anyway? Maybe we’ve all just run out of fashion ideas. Either way the track is still very sick, and I’m a fan.
