Portland, Oregon rapper/producer Dust has just released a brand new video that’s already garnered some death threats. The video was shot in Portland’s Old Church, and features a congregation being duped by religious leaders into attending a mass Jonestown party. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.
‘Playing God’ is taken from the album ‘Dust Raps the Blues’ a collage of whisky-soaked breakups and breakbeats. The album is reminiscent of the old delta blues crossed with 90’s rap. It has been described as “Macklemore meets B.B. King.”

NxtGen speaks out at how people judge others because the way they dress, or where they happen to live based on ‘The class system’, that is still evident in todays society. Lets not beat around the bush, the gap between the rich and poor in the UK is widening and people who actually have to rely on benfeits to live, not because they are scroungers are being demonised by Tory politicians and the mainstream media.

Here they go in over the classic Wu-Tang beat, now i’m usually sceptical when someone uses a classic like this, but the emcees don’t disappoint which was refreshing, unlike so many submissions we get of this nature. Check it out and judge for yourselves
