Hip-Hop emcee Chris Gatsby is the latest young talent to emerge from the Bay Area’s rich hip-hop talent pool. Today, he’s dropping the visuals for the track “Keep It Moving,” produced by Boston beat maker Statik Selektah, the lead single is off of his debut album, Middleground: Morals & Money to be released on January 21, 2014.
The Bay Area native describes the song as being about “that philosophy of keep it moving, stay true to what you believe in, the principles you grew up on. In the first verse I talk about ‘I keep it old school / I live by old rules.’ That’s what I stay true to.”
Years in the making, Gatsby says of his debut album, “With life in general, I feel that as humans, no matter what walk of life you’re from, we all strive to find the balance in life, and I describe that as the middle ground … I believe that finding that balance is always affected by money and morals.”
‘Middleground: Morals & Money’ will drop January 21, 2014. Production is shared by Illmind, Statik Selektah and Da Hermit.

Skeezo reached out to Alterprod/Alterbeats for graphics, video and album production for his march 2013 release “Face value”. Less than a year later the French crew deemed The New York native more than worthy to bless a solo track and video for their upcoming project Class struggle. Here Skeezo demonstrates Raw lyrics with a 90’s street vibe making “Real Talk” the perfect street anthem for those that live that life and those that don’t!

Teaser video and full track from the upcoming collaboration album between legendary emcee John Robinson and producer/drummer PVD (aka Pat Van Dyke), with Chinch 33 handling the dope cuts. PVD’s uptempo live instrumentation and jazz influenced breaks drop nicely behind JR’s raspy voice and intelligent wordplay on this first leak from ‘Modern Vintage’, due in early 2014 on Brick Records.
