eMC spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about a variety of Battle Rap related topics in this clip from their exclusive interview with VladTV.
They began by discussing the infamous Canibus vs Dizaster battle, and how Canibus choked so badly because he lost the battle within himself to perform at his very best. Punchline stated that he actually showed that battle to LL Cool J, and LL stated “I feel bad for the kid,” after he watched Canibus pull out the notepad.
They went on to speak about the highly anticipated battle between Joe Budden vs Hollow Da Don, and how they think the “playing field isn’t leveled,” due to Joe Budden’s life having been played out in front of the public in ways that Hollow has never experienced. eMC does believe that Joe can spit and will come with good material, however.
The interview concluded with the guys addressing the slim possibility of competing in the battle ring in the future, and explained that their lyrical attention is primarily focused on making good music.
Last week, eMC dropped by Showoff Radio with Statik Selektah. While on air, Statik started up a cypher. Tune in to Showoff Radio each and every Thursday from 8p till Midnight EST on Shade 45. For more great freestyles, log on to http://www.Allindstrom.com today!

London-based rapper Chiu has been consistently putting out slabs of biting social commentary for the last decade. Early in his career he was a x3 defending “The Jump Off” MC Battle Champion! His energetic freestyle eloquence made him a truly formidable opponent. Conscious, chiselled yet cheeky chappie rapper/comedian- full to the brim with banter. A combination of lyrical honesty and sharp wit has helped him rack-up around a million hits on YouTube!!
Hailing from North West London, he has also devised numerous and successful creative, music, film and martial arts youth projects in Kilburn, Ealing and Tufnell Park. Furthermore, worked alongside Government bodies to facilitate these projects. Chiu has most recently garnished further recognition with his two videos for SB.TV, He has accomplished this while also being a DJ, personal trainer and stunt actor on various films including The Dark Knight, Die Another Day, 47 Ronin and Harry Potter.
Chiu won the London Rap Event for “Streets Of Peace 2013”, supporting Akala at The Colosseum! Also performed at ‘ILuvLive’, ‘DropOutUK’ and ‘The Flowdown’ sponsored by “Don’t Flop” rap battles!!
Chiu is currently working on his latest EP “Chiu’s Day”, which should be released very soon independently. “Chiu’s Day” has a nice acoustic feel to it, complementing Chiu’s lyricism and you have the opportunity to listen to this dope EP here. Check it out we think you’ll like it!
