Microphone masters N.B.S. align with the Budapest bred beatsmith AZA (of Scarcity / Killakikitt) in a match of international hardcore hip-hop entitled “Budavets”.
Budavets is the product of two years of work, countless tours, and a few lost passports. With the cult following of Killakikitt in Hungary and features from some of underground hip-hop’s elite (including Slaine, Edo G, Akrobatik, Virtuoso, Snowgoons, and more); Budavets is sure to satisfy fans of hardcore lyrical hip-hop, both foreign and domestic.

In 2003, while walking down an empty alley near Clark and Pratt in Chicago, Verbal Kent had his throat slashed with a knife by an acquaintance. Kent managed to make it to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston as blood poured from his neck. He received nearly 100 stitches, and took two months to recuperate. The impact was unimaginable, an incident like this shades everything going forward for some time. It’s been a decade now since that incident changed Verbal Kent’s life forever, and now The Windy City is back in the news with unprecedented gang violence these past few years – something Verbal decided to address in his own way. Far from a nihilist, Verbal finds meaning in the struggles he and his city live through.
This is The Sound of The Weapon an unabashed look at living through anything and loving everything.
The cause of it is truth.

Official video for Potent Whisper featuring Floetic Lara – ‘Just Wondering’, Produced by Harry Crotch.
Standing at the door of the one-hundred year anniversary of WWI, and with the current turmoil in Iraq magnifying to such an intense degree, it might well be an appropriate time to raise these questions surrounding war and collectively take a second look at the grim reality of war. @PotentOfficial #JustWondering
