Charlie Sloth is one of British hip hop and grime’s most authoritative figures. His legendary Fire in the Booth series has featured everyone from Danny Brown to Today show presenter John Humphreys; he’s been making his mark on 1Xtra for the last four years; now he’s putting out his first compilation, Hood Heat Vol 1. Released on December 8 through Naughty Boy’s imprint on Virgin Records, the compilation covers both sides of the Atlantic with tracks by Andre 3000 and Future to Ghetts and Giggs.

Fresh off of a 3 year hiatus, Masstapeace is back with their new smash single “God’s Calling” from the forthcoming album ‘Time 2 Make Millions’, due out in 2015. Although Masstapeace has been quiet with releasing music these past few years, they have stayed busy in the Boston hip hop scene, performing alongside national acts at sold out shows monthly.
Their lead single “God’s Calling” features guest vocals from a promising up and coming artist and extended Masstapeace family, Renzo, and is produced by the underground heavyweight, C-Lance.
