‘Natural High’ is the first single off the latest LP by Awon entitled “Matte Black Soul”. The Phoniks produced track takes the listener on a personal journey through love and loyalty as Awon delivers thoughful bars about his relationship with his significant other. The French cinematographers, Double Rush, took to the task of filming a video that conveys the feeling of the song to the audience through the eyes of a man.

Birmingham UK turntablist DJ Miss C Brown presents the Infrastructure to Industry video Mix. The set features some of the classic UK HipHop tunes and artists blended together using MP4’s, two turntables & Serato. “I put the mix together to try and capture some of the different sounds prevalent in UK hip hop – including the heavy reggae influences.” Stated Miss Brown, “In my opinion this is one of the things that sets UK Hip Hop apart from Hip Hop in the US.”

DJ Sonny is a Hip Hop Producer / DJ from Scotland. He is widely respected for his distinctive style of scratching and mixing and his golden age take on production.
