Beats & Bars is back for its eighth event and what a line up we have for you as we bring you the Don’t Flop Champion and UK Hip-Hop legend Tony D and his fellow Poisonous Poet & another UK lyrical legnd Reveal. These two London legends will play alongside Wolverhampton’s very own Big Dutty Deeze and Alex-is, K.O.T.T aka Knights Of The Turntables from Portsmouth, Birmingham City’s Night Movements, Telford’s very own Trademark as well sets from Midlands based rapper Shakezpeare and our opening act Jahmmy Montanna from the South West. Apex Zero debut solo album “Reality Provoking Liberation” Launch Party (28th Oct) #Event @ApexZero00
London hip hop Emcee and producer Apex Zero releases his debut solo album “Reality Provoking Liberation” on 28th October 2013.
One half of the city’s First and Last rap duo, live performances are his specialty from his days appearing at events such as End of the Weak, Speaker’s Corner and also as part of the group The Pantheonz of Zenn-la, renowned for their energetic stage shows.
To celebrate the release of the album, he has teamed up with local live promoter Hoochinoo to stage his launch party on Saturday 2nd November upstairs at The Vibe Bar, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL.
While Apex will be showcasing many of the tracks off the new album, there will also be performances by Caxton Press and new Triple Darkness member Iron Braydz. Spinning the tunes for the night with be Itch FM’s DJ A.Gee with the night hosted by Hoochinoo regular Peaches.
There has been an impressive response from media on both sides of the Atlantic to the album, so expect a high quality night of hip hop from some of the city’s finest artists.
