B-Boy Kid Glyde Dynamic Rockers New York comes to Cambridge England.
Victor “Kid Glyde” Alicea’s credo is “If you can conceive it, you can achieve. it” At twenty-eight years old, Kid Glyde has already achieved much of what he has conceived—and won’t be stopping anytime soon. Hailing from Queens, New York, Kid Glyde is the president of the acclaimed NYC b-boy crew, The Dynamic Rockers, which he not only inherited, but has also revived. He is the Director of Bboyworld.com, the number one b-boying networking website on the Internet, and is the endorsed b-boy for Red Bull.
He has appeared in acclaimed dance movies such as Step Up 2 & 3, Bumper, Pressure, and the b-boy documentary All Out War. He is also the principal actor in “I Break NY”, a webisode series about Kid Glyde and the Dynamic Rockers’ struggles and triumphs in 2009. He is the son of legendary Glyde of the original Dynamic Rockers and has been breaking for sixteen years, starting with lessons from both his father and Kid Freeze.
Recently, Kid Glyde and the Dynamic Rockers have been taking battles by storm, winning first place in the Masters of the Art 6 battle in NYC, Funk What U Heard in Connecticut, and representing the USA at IBE (International Breaking Event), the largest international b-boying tournament.
A short video from bboywattsy trip to Berlin, Germany where he checks out some of the scenery such as the Berlin wall which is covered in graffiti art and some abandoned buildings, train graffiti and the streets of Berlin all shot with the Tokina 11-16 2.8 MX II lens on a Canon 600D.

Round 1 of the 2013 DMC Online DJ Competition is LIVE! Watch and vote for as many DJs as you want! There will be many DJs who have never been able to compete in the DMC’s before in countries where we have been unable, until now, to stage a DMC Championship.. So… encourage the novice DJs and the new DJs! Its up to you who makes the Top 10 every Round! Remember THREE DJs will go into the final from each 2 week Round of which there are 9.
Visit www.dmcdjonline.com to VOTE for your favourite DJs! To ensure fair play no one can vote for a DJ more than once per round, but you can vote for as many DJs as you like. To further ensure true talent is the winner, we are sending the public’s Top 10 in each round over to selected DMC World Champions for their professional votes and they will decide which 3 DJs go through per round to the Online Final.
In the Online Final, 27 DJs will return with a full 6 minute mix which will again be judged by our world-wide audience whose Top 10 will this time be handed over to EVERY DMC WORLD CHAMPION for the final decision.
Somewhere out there is a DJ who is about to become a DMC legend. Somewhere out there are new DJs who will use the ONLINE DJ competition as a way to get their name out there. All DMC World Champions over the past 25 years took years to win their titles, they all started practicing in their bedrooms, entering their first heats and losing but they got up, like great fighters, battled again until they found their way to the world’s greatest DJ platform, the stage at THE DMC WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIP.
The winner of the ONLINE DJ CHAMPIONSHIP will join Champions from around the world at the DMC World Finals later this year. We hope to see you there too.
