Bored of Wisdom aka B.o.W is a brand new Midlands based independent streetwear clothing brand which was born out of wanting to create a new brand that was unique and focused on taking designs and creative ideas to a new level. Now they team up with Park Street PR to unleash a launch party that pays homage to some of the brands favourite artists and deejays for a night of pure Hip-Hop goodness and party vibes, as well as a chance to purchase and view all their new ranges! This is where fashion meets music; you don’t want to miss this one!
On Saturday 27th July 2013 the family and friends lost Tom Walton one half of Bored Of Wisdom Clothing.
This event was his dream, we didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Tom here at HHL&T but when we were asked to rep the event we were only to happy to help and in honour of Tom we are sponsoring a free ad of the event on our home page, because all we’ve heard are nice things about the man who will be missed, but also we admire and respect Tom’s family and friends for making Tom’s Dream come true, so PLEASE come and represent for Tom Tom aka Wooly.

PHILI N DOTZ is a collaboration project between UK Hip-Hop legend Si Phili who used to be part of Phi-Life Cypher and the twelve time ‘Jump Off Battle’ Champion MC Dotz. Phi Life Cypher were an integral part of the UK movement as well as working with the Gorillaz. The Phili & Dotz album ‘Phil N Tha Dotz’ is due to be released late summer 2013 and promises to be a future classic and even includes a guest verse from Skinnyman and Phoenix Da Icefire from Triple Darkness. With over twenty years experience between the two of them this is a chance to hear some tracks off their forthcoming album and watch another classic performance.
BIG DUTTY DEEZE is a Wolverhampton rapper that has been releasing music for the last two and a half years and in that time he has released ten mixtapes and two albums. His debut album ‘The English Gentleman’ was released on Chicago label KGB Records who where distributed by Island/Def Jam and featured New York rapper Ruste Juxx. Big Dutty Deeze has shared stages with Koncept & J57 from Brown Bag Allstars, Rodney P, Ty, Black Twang, Mystro, Moorish Delta 7, Klashnekoff, Iron Braydz, Kyza and more. His new album ‘The Underdog’ features Don’t Flop rapper Blizzard, UK legend Genesis Elijah and more as well as working on his third album ‘Almost Famous’ which will be produced entirely by Tricksta.
https://www.bigdutty.com/CRACKER is a South-West London rapper, recording artist and battle emcee Cracker has been active of the UK Hip-Hop scene for the last two years carving a name for him self. His battles have featured on the hugely popular Don’t Flop channel with ‘2 on 2’ battle with Cee Major against Hulk & Sniper E hitting over 38,000 on You Tube. Cracker & Cee Major won the tournament winning the £3000 prize money and the title. With his new EP ‘The Heart Of The City EP’ about to drop and do big things, Cracker is also upping the work rate by working on a new mixtape ‘Speak Of The Devil’ which will follow. As an artist he has shared stages with the likes of Blizzard, Big Dutty Deeze, Micall Parknsun, Kyza, Genesis Elijah, Charlie Sloth and done freestyle spits for UV UK, DJ Gone, Streets Disciples and LTMA.
UNSEEN is an up and coming rapper from Wolverhampton who is getting ready to unleash his debut mixtape ‘Tell Me I’m Wrong’ which will be hosted by Tricksta and released through the UK Runnings mixtape series. The project features guest verses from Supar Novar, Big Dutty Deeze, Lullaby from H.O.O.D Fellaz, Ribzy, Baron Mynd and more. He has already featured on a string of urban You Tube channels such as Big Fingz TV, T Shaw Media, Cav’s Friday Freestyle, Barmageddon Battles and Snake Eyez TV, as well as featuring as a guest on Big Dutty Deeze’s ‘Underdog’ album and forthcoming releases from Shakezpere, Lullaby, American producer Rediculus and more. Known for explosive performances this is a talented artist you don’t want to sleep on.
NATURE THE KIDD Nature the Kidd is an up and coming rapper from South London who is getting set to drop his debut solo project “Nature’s Way” hosted by Tricksta and released through the UK Runnings mixtape series. Signed by Incentive Records/Ministry Of Sound at the age of 15 with UK Garage collective Empire Squad, Nature was also part of South West Hip-Hop collective Sons Of South (SOS) and sold 3000 hard copies of their mixtape series “All Eyes On The South”. He has shared stages with Doc Brown, Phi Life Cypher, Micall Parknsun, Klashnekoff, Sway, Blade, Million Dan and has featured on numerous mixtapes, radio shows and more recently did freestyles for Big Fingz TV, REDJSD and Snake Eyez TV. Nature is known for positive uplifting live sets and is a true entertainer.
5n6 is an independent recording artist, producer and song writer making original hip hop from Luton Town. He has been behind three UK Runnings mixtape releases as a part of the rap duos: Collective Underground and XO The Rebellion. 5n6 is finally taking to the stage and studio as a solo artist and is mainly working on his debut album “Parameters” that is due to be released later this year. The Luton rapper has also recently released his debut self directed music video “Walk With Me” which has had some radio play and positive feedback amongst the UK Hip Hop blogosphere. 5n6 has a unique style that is influenced by his childhood in one of the poorest countries in the West Indies and his teens and later life being shaped on the roads of the UK.
TRICKSTA (DJ/HOST) Tricksta began DJ’ing back in 1989 on pirate and worked in a record shop from 1991 to 1995 as the Hip-Hop Buyer, before working at record labels from 1995 as well promoting events and DJ’ing. Tricksta was the co-founder of Wolftown Recordings producing albums for Villains, Vicious Circle, Wolftown Committee and LATE and has DJ’ed in Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Fort Laderdale Houston, Stockholm, Cannes, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Zürich and all over the UK. He founded the UK Runnings mixtape series 2001 and promotions company Park Street PR in 2003. Tricksta’s 2012 production album ‘Out Of Darkness Cometh Light’ featured the cream of the UK scene and he has released official mixtapes with French Montana, Big Narstie, Papoose, Iron Braydz, D-Block, Big Dutty Deeze, M9, Red Café and many more. Tricksta also runs the following Hip-Hop events; Beats & Bars (Wolverhampton), Juice (Luton), Real Rhymers (Banbury), Empowered (Leamingtom Spa) and is considered to be a true ambassador and fan of the UK Hip-Hop sound. Active in music industry in the 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s and now the 2010’s Tricksta is a true character in the UK Hip-Hop scene.
