Yes!! It’s finally here! Our first official mixtape hosted and mixed by our homie Tricksta. This has been a labour of love for the last year, but it’s finally dropped for your little ears to be blessed by. It’s volume 1 because don’t even think this will be our last mixtape, this is the just the beginning. It features some of the biggest heads from the UK scene: Big Cakes, Too Many T’s, QELD, The Locksmiths, Raggo Zulu Rebel, Cyclonious, Iron Braydz Ruthless, LATE, Ramson Badbonez, Sonnyjim, Big Dutty Deeze, Supar Novar, B-iLLA, Genesis Elijah, Danny Bones, Terra Slim and many more. We’re so stoked for this, and can’t thank the artists enough for contributing to this, and if you wanted in then don’t worry they’ll be others, you best believe.

DJ Seanski, best known for his involvement on Guru’s Jazzmatazz album series, returns to the scene with his brand new mixtape, A Tribute to Public Enemy. The 18-track mixtape features classic P.E. material such as “Fight The Power” and “Bring The Noise,” but Seanski also mixes in tracks that were sampled by Public Enemy’s production team, the Bomb Squad. A little reality check for your early afternoon listening. Spectac critiques popular culture, our casual dismissal for one another’s suffering, having a college degree but not doing a whole lot of nothing with it (I hear that), and whilst America may have a black president, not a lot has changed for the people down on the ground. Considering the song itself is only 2 minutes long, Spectac articulately fits a lot in those bars all to a dope instrumental courtesy of DJ Shakim.
Spectac has been away from the game for a few years, and the duo’s joint effort ‘For The People’ which was released February 19th marks a welcome return to the lyricist.
