TwoineyLo is a 16 Year old Lyrical Artist from Baltimore City that who mixes and masters his own tracks and is working non stop to be the best & accomplish his dream. In a recent interview, TwoineyLo stated “To me, Rap is more than music. I believe that Rap is an art but most artist do not paint vivid pictures for their audience to visualize as they listen” .TwoineyLo is one of the founders of “Nothing Without Motivation” (NWM) which is a successful, positive brotherhood and movement .”its a way of life” He mentions. “Our purpose is to prove to society that not all black males have to be statistics, instead, we want them to see that we too can engage in positive activity through creativity and expression.” He added.

Welcome to Broken Poetz, rappers D.KNOW and MYSTERO hailing from Andover, Hampshire UK, their EP ‘The Pen, The Pad & The Things We Had’ has been a 9 month labour of love and is now finished.

Broken Poetz tracks utilise elements of Funk, Soul, Reggae and Blues to form a melting pot of sounds. All tracks are rich in metaphors, hidden meanings, clever wordplay and have a recognisable sound that is very much their own. Every track on the EP explores their psyche and are painfully honest representations of their deepest thoughts and feelings, and they really hope you can see that they have not held anything back as they feel honesty in hip-hop is extremely important and sadly lacking in today’s scene!

The EP’s key themes are really centred around ‘Loss’ and learning how to remain positive in times of sadness. Although they touch on very sad times and revisit dark places, the EP remains upbeat and positive and promotes a sense of melancholy throughout.

Washington Classics present to you…Funky DL remixes NAS – “Jazzmatic” Seeing that Nas is my favourite emcee of all time,  I was sceptical over this when it hit the inbox, but having been familiar with Funky DL’s previous work I was prepared to give it a chance….You know what??? I’m glad I did this is seriously DOPE!! I’ll let the press release set the scene for you

Just imagine if this happened & picture the setting…

It’s the late 1930’s and local jazz club is packed to the brim with people awaiting the rapper Nas and his jazz musicians (orchestrated by Producer Funky DL) along with featured artists to come and play a 10-track set to forever be remembered. The lights are dim and the hall is filled with smoke, whilst the clinking sound of champagne flutes ambiently gesture in the atmosphere. Nas and Funky DL are having their picture taken outside the club in an array of spotlights glaring from their vehicles (see artwork).  Then it happens… The two step inside the club and “JAZZMATIC” erupts …
