After over a year spent in a slight creative slump in a crumbling terraced house in Tottenham, Jam Baxter rang his label boss while heavily intoxicated to request they fly him to Bangkok forthwith, to rejoin forces with ‘…so we ate them whole’ producer and engineer, Chemo. After an initial period of understandable hesitancy, the flights were booked and Baxter found himself suddenly regurgitated from the belly of a Jet Airliner into the magical and surreal surroundings of ‘Mansion 38’.
It seems right that Jam Baxter’s two favourite tracks from the forthcoming ‘Mansion 38’ album, ‘Teeth Marks’ & ‘Soi 36’ be combined into a singular item, a limited edition hand numbered seven inch vinyl.

Reflective of the content the video directed by Lucrative Sight includes images of Black mathematicians of note throughout history.
The Falling Season (entirely produced by Kic Beats) is a concept piece centered on Masta Ace’s years at Sheepshead Bay High School in the early 80’s. Album guests include Chuck D (Public Enemy), Cormega, A.G, Your Old Droog, Torae, Wordsworth, Stricklin, The World’s Famous Supreme Team and Queen Herawin.

Besides names like Method Man & Ghostface of the Wu Tang Clan, Dres from Black Sheep, Psycho Les from the Beatnuts, Onyx, M.O.P. and Dilated Peoples, the Snowgoons also easily manage to place a whole bunch of extremely gifted young guns on the album, proving real Hip Hop is alive and kicking in 2016.
Blowing up all scales right now, 18 year old wonderkid Token leads off a track entitled ‘New Kidz On TheBloc’. The song also features TJ Brown from ‘The Get Down’ TV Show, Goon MuSick’s own Big Kurt, Wu Tangmember U-God’s son, Intell and one of Canadas hottest rappers, Merkules. Manchester emcee and producer Diligent Fingers is back with the second release a ‘Fist Full Of Change’ Live Freestyle over the RJD2 – ‘Seven Light Years’ instrumental. Conscious Route brings you a new visual for ‘On Da Up’, this raw edgy truth of his life experience over a haunting reflective melody, produced by UK producer Micall Parknsun.
Conscious Route has been steadily building a solid repertoire over the last five years since his return to hip hop. This new release lays testament to his lyrical ability, as well as being reflective of his own life journey. The song takes you through layers of struggle and personal change as the chorus reflects the hope and purpose gained from struggle alongside a willingness to support the community towards progression and change. The hauntingly reflective lyrics ride on a tough instrumental back drop courtesy of Micall Parknsun, and this track isn’t to be taken lightly, as both lyrics and melody take you on a focused journey, showing that there is light at the end of the tunnel!
