After over a year spent in a slight creative slump in a crumbling terraced house in Tottenham, Jam Baxter rang his label boss while heavily intoxicated to request they fly him to Bangkok forthwith, to rejoin forces with ‘…so we ate them whole’ producer and engineer, Chemo. After an initial period of understandable hesitancy, the flights were booked and Baxter found himself suddenly regurgitated from the belly of a Jet Airliner into the magical and surreal surroundings of ‘Mansion 38’.
It seems right that Jam Baxter’s two favourite tracks from the forthcoming ‘Mansion 38’ album, ‘Teeth Marks’ & ‘Soi 36’ be combined into a singular item, a limited edition hand numbered seven inch vinyl.

Not just a song title, the lyrics drop a lot of mathematical terms as metaphors of the emcee’s philosophy of life and hip hop. Reflective of the content the video directed by Lucrative Sight includes images of Black mathematicians of note throughout history.
The Falling Season (entirely produced by Kic Beats) is a concept piece centered on Masta Ace’s years at Sheepshead Bay High School in the early 80’s. Starting his career with the legendary Juice Crew in the late 80’s, Masta Ace will be celebrating his 50th Birthday Celebration on his home turf of New York City on December 4th. The event will include DJ sets by the mighty Marley Marl, Mister Cee and The Freedom Party DJs Herbert Holler and DJ Cosi. Hosting duties will be handled in part by fellow Juice Crew members Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap & DJ Polo, Roxanne Shante, Craig G and more (info link below).

Conscious Route has been steadily building a solid repertoire over the last five years since his return to hip hop.
