Formerly one half of acclaimed Bristol hip hop collective Se Fire, Mistafire is back with an energetic yet heartfelt solo show, and a bag of sub-heavy new material to showcase.

After years fine tuning his craft in the studio, and supporting hip hop heavyweights like De La Soul, The Roots & DJ Premier, he’s now ready to unleash his new live show. Featuring live sampling and vocal effects as well as a powerful roster of guest vocalists, Mistafire’s performances sit comfortably in the grey area between hip hop, dub, and drum & bass – but there’s nothing grey about this! The potent blend of powerfully conscious lyricism, and gut-wrenchingly deep basslines, take the listener through the full gamut of emotions effortlessly, and transfers easily from the smallest to the biggest of stages.

The fuel for the fire on stage comes from the forthcoming ‘ConDemNation’ LP – all underpinned by Mistafire’s wordplay, the production reflects the myriad sides of this complex character. From dubbed out political laments alongside festival stalwarts Only Joe, racous collaborations with all conquering Bristol hip hoppers Split Prophets, all the way through to two Interface produced monsters which bridge the gap between traditional UK hip hop stylings and the energy of the rowdiest tear out DnB. An accomplished debut solo offering from an artist ready to emerge to a next level.
