Verb and Mc Oneline give you that authentic old school vibe ’90s Golden Era Hip Hop, like only two real old school heads can do! After many ill tracks together, they decided to lay it down and create this album for listeners who want to hear a message, some substance, they don’t conform for anybody, they keep it just like the pioneers would want it! Their main goal is worldwide unity through music!
In the words of MC ONELINE! “Get you Some”

It’s been six years since Marco Polo took the hip-hop world by storm with his Rawkus/Soulspazm Records debut LP, Port Authority. While the project not only established the Toronto, Canada native as one of the top emerging producers in his field, as evidenced by the amount of time that has elapsed between his debut and sophomore projects, it is also apparent that Marco Polo won’t release a project on anyone else’s timeline. That fact is verified by Masta Ace, who in an attempt to find out what was going on with the verse he supplied for Marco’s new project, PA2: The Director’s Cut, (which is now available wherever fine music is sold) left this voicemail for Marco……
“Ay yo Marco, it’s Masta Ace, what’s going on man? I was just wondering; I did this verse for you, I don’t know, it was two years ago—whatever happened with that verse man? I thought it was coming out on Port Authority 2? It’s like mad years now, like we talking about it, and I’m hearing about it. I’ve never seen someone take like four-thousand years to put a record together. Anyway, if you are working on it, I hope it’s done soon.”
No worries Ace, here it is…..
Marco Polo’s PA2: The Director’s Cut is narrated by Michael Rapaport and includes features from Organized Konfusion (Pharoahe Monch & Prince Po), Talib Kweli, DJ Premier, Posdnuos (of De La Soul), Masta Ace, Kardinal Offishal, Styles P, Alchemist, Oh No, Large Professor, Inspectah Deck, MC Eiht, King Tee, Slaine and Ill Bill.

Having put albums out for a decade as the rapper behind UK Hip Hop duo Prose, Efeks is an emcee who should need no introduction. A veteran of the UK rap scene, his solo debut certainly lives up to it’s title. ‘Contemporary Classic’ takes a more personal direction than the Prose releases, touching on subjects drawn from Efeks’ own personal experiences. Tracks like ‘Identity Crisis’ and ‘Fool That I Am’ give the listener a glimpse into Efeks’ world, while others such as ‘Open Mic’ and ‘Word on the Street’ will resonate more with fans of raw, hard-hitting Hip Hop.
A purist of Boom-Bap Hip Hop, Efeks never comprimises with his music and the result is a rough and rugged album full of big beats, smart lyrics and impeccable flows. The guest spots include some of the illest rappers of the day as well as UK legends 20 years deep… in the game. Production is shared between a host of beat makers but the sound carries the same vibe throughout the album.
Yo! don’t sleep on this dope UK release you can download it digitally for just £4.99 and it is also available on CD format for £6.45
