Nice set from DJ Traps (USA) as he places 3rd at DMC World DJ Championships 2016, whereas a lot more routines these days have a EDM feel to them, this one has what I would call a ‘throwback’ or possibly even ‘classic’ vibe to it, probably why I enjoyed it so much. Performance filmed live at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, Saturday 24th September.
Deflo (Death Kiss Musick) brings you visuals for ‘Demons’, his spin of the Slum Village instrumental ‘Fall In Love’, produced by the legendary J Dilla. Rapper Deflo gets in touch with his inner problems and relays them articulately. It might not be easy to hear but its honest. Deflo displays his song writing, versatility as a rapper/singer and smooth, meandering flow on the boom bap hip hop beat.
The visuals by Spexx23 for Death Kiss Media complements the song, bringing to life the demons that Deflo is trying to escape with shots inspired partially by the Sinister movies.
