Born in Chiswick in West London, Lucchi Supremeson is a rapper and producer that spent his childhood days in South London listening to Hip-Hop. His passion for the music stemmed from a strong family background and the age of twelve he began his music craft. Two years later and he was hitting his local Youth Club learning how to produce being encouraged by individuals Mike, M.E, TE1, M9 and Iron Braydz. His uncle also inspired him to make music as he had formed acts including the duo ‘Ty Chi’, a multi talented group of UK rappers known as ‘Anarchy’ as well as the talented ‘US2UK’.
Lucchi Supremeson is now known for his authentic Hip-Hop style and Boom Bap beats as well as being known as a real, outspoken lyrical emcee. His music is not heavily political but does question society and definitely entertains. Today he released his brand new video for his new track ‘Fiber’ produced by Propa on leading UK media channel Link Up TV. Lucchi has performance experience studying Performing Arts & Music Diplomas at Hammersmith and West Thames College. He has performed across many open mic events across London and next Wednesday is supporting Wu Tang & Wisemen rapper Bronze Nazareth at The White Lion in Streatham.

FIRE! An uzi’s firing rate is precisely six hundred rounds per minute. Neither one of us are counting bars, but El Gant’s presentation here over 42 Keez’s canvas could very well be the closest representation of a lyrical uzi in 2015. “Raw”, the lead single off his upcoming Spray Music EP, cosigns itself that Gant’s emceeing abilities have been doing pushups since the acclaimed 2014 release of Beast Academy. With 42 Keez’s Chicago-driven soundscape and a universally accepted and respectable rhyme display, the single attests to mainstream potentiality and sits well on the current, in listeners of 2015. In opposition, don’t get the potential screwed up. Gant is always building with and in the lab with veteran emcees and true schoolers, alongside successful solo strives and his IV League posse (Ras Kass, Shabaam Sahdeeq, El Da Sensei and more). Get your pen or touch screen out and be prepared to mark your calendar for the EP; trust is a must!

Last week Bristol, UK emcee and one third of dope UK collective Three Headed Beast, Twizzy, dropped his second solo album ‘Done With All The Bull’ entirely produced by Hutch Beats. Regular followers to the site know that we’re all big fans of Twizzy here at HHLAT. So with all my writers working on personal projects and me up to my neck with a mountain of submissions i gave the task of reviewing the album to our in-house beatboxer Matt and here’s what he had to say about Twizzy’s ‘Done With All The Bull’……..
If you have been sleeping on Twizzy, wake the hell up!
Not only one of Bristols best, but deserving to be on the tip of your tongue when talking about UKs greatests. ‘Done With All The Bull’ is his latest album (which is a pay what you like affair) and it is a great example of his progression in both technique and content. This isn’t to say that his past releases were poor, far from it, in fact I wasn’t sure he could top Baileys Brown Musical Vol.2, however he has clearly put the graft in and created something which can’t be ignored among heads.
Some of the tracks which I instantly skip to include: ‘Not A Worry In The World’, a upbeat track with some tasty little technique pieces showing off the effortless complex flow mixed with some nice turntablism from DJ Jabbathakut which is sorely missed nowadays.
‘What We Like To Call’, which features consistent collaborator Jinxsta JX (one third of Three Headed Beast, which are also well worth your time) who treats the listener to a super smooth style which is like audible cream. This instrumental has a funky flute line which catches your ear every time in-between head bobs.
‘Karma’ provides an introspective dark vibe, which, with a stripped back instrumental (with bass that will sound phenomenal on a nice system) shows off the verbal patterns Twizzy can achieve.
‘That’s The Trouble’ is a track of advice, which has a lot of personality thanks to Twizzy, Dotz and it also contains one of Chester P’s best verses and has a really nice grimy energy to it.
There are plenty of other great tracks on here too, but i’ll let those be a surprise. The conclusion? Just go download this now, you can get it for nothing, but if you’re like me you’ll want to help support one of the rarest MCs in the UK, someone with great technique, style and tackling great content at the same time!
Words; Matt

“I really felt like the album needed another record for the streets on it. I wanted to bring glory to it but still make something that knocked in the trunk. When I reached out to E. Smitty to produce it I also asked him to grab some features. He reached out to Sadat X & Chris Rivers. The rest is history” – Knowledgeable Intellect
