As L’Orange and Kool Keith prepare for liftoff on their sci-fi journey through time and space, they’ve stopped by to share some new music. The newest exploration, Twenty Fifty Three, features the Def Jux legend Mr. Lif as the team marches further into the future. There may not be action or adventure, but there’s always something interesting to find. The collaborative album, Time? Astonishing!, comes out July 24th on Mello Music Group.

About The Upcoming Album…..
Coming July 24th on Mello Music Group, Time? Astonishing!is the latest dimensional warp from hip-hop’s premiere astral traveler. His union with MMG producer L’Orange finds him exploring uncharted terrain: choppy volcanic rock planets, ice glacier moons, new surgical procedures, and fresh rappers to toss into the ether. The scalpel remains eternally sharp.
Even a flying DeLorean seems too conventional for the Bronx legend. He’d more logically orbit throughout the galaxy in a gleaming chrome spaceship, teaching the stars and aliens new forms of originality. He is too weird to live, too rare to die, too uniquely ultra-magnetic to be accurately mimicked.
L’Orange’s production appropriately coaxes the most appealingly baffling gonzo vision from Keith since his days collaborating with Dan “The Automator” Nakamura. This isn’t the noir-rap of L’Orange’s previous work, but something atmospheric, ethereal, and absurd.
Yet there’s a sense of tradition within the playfulness. The beats glow with radioactive grit. Hard enough to knock from your car speakers, cinematic and plutonium-propelled enough to transport you to strange terra firma. Buck Rodgers movie serials meet boom-bap. And along for the odyssey are a cast of the best underground MC’s of the last decade: Blu, Open Mike Eagle, Mr. Lif, J-Live, and more.
Welcome to the new world, even more sinister and suspenseful than the last one. We live inastonishing times: abstract, absurd, and indelibly Kool.

“Love N Lust” is taken off the long awaited album, 14 Forms: The Book of Estee Nack, by the Tragic Allies front-men Estee Nack & Purpose. The album is entirely produced by Purpose (Tragic Allies, 7 G.E.M.S., Tragedy Khadafi, Killah Priest, Paranom, Big Shug, Singapore Kane, etc.). 14 Forms: The Book of Estee Nack is now available worldwide (release date 6-23-15) on CD, cassette, and digital formats on Ill Adrenaline Records (distributed by Fat Beats).
Growing up in the streets of Lynn, Massachusetts, there are very few artists who genuinely preserve the essence of hip-hop in its golden age… This is where hip-hop collaborative Tragic Allies have been able to set themselves apart from their peers throughout the years.
In 2015, Tragic Allies are delivering yet another gift to the legacy of the golden age. This time the Allies frontmen Estee Nack and Purpose come together with plans on further solidifying their Tragic Allies brand as a dominant force in hip-hop with their new full length offering 14 Forms: The Book of Estee Nack.
The front-to-back play-worthy musical backdrops are ingeniously mapped by Purpose who continues to carve his legacy as a great producer, after providing stellar production on the previously released 7 G.E.M.S. and Paranom albums, offering a folk-like array of dark, funky basslines, dusty drum patterns and mellow-dreary melodic landscapes that – while remaining grimy and dark (true to the Purpose influenced Tragic Allies sound) – are reminiscent to a more grassroots sound, if not a deep inner city blues. This year, Tragic Allies continue to hit hard with Purpose and Nack’s MC/production styles blending as perfectly as expected, drawing listeners up into a trance like state, inspiring feelings of laughter, pride, sadness, anger, love and revolution per the trademark Tragic Allies sound.

Official Video for Toronto based Producer MoSS’s 2nd single “Boombastic” featuring The Legendary Slum Village. MoSS album will be available September 18, 2015.
Video directed by Andy Miller for Orange Cap Pictures, and was shot in Detroit and Toronto.
MoSS may be a new name to some in the music game, but his production credits are instantly recognizable. Ghostface Killah’s smash hit “Kilos”, Raekwon’s “Have Mercy”, Obie Trice’s entire “Special Reserve” album and most recently a collaborative album with Eternia “At Last” released on Fatbeats. The Canadian-born, Toronto area resident has been bubbling just below the surface of worldwide notoriety for quite some time, and is now preparing the release of his debut production album featuring the likes of Joell Ortiz, Slum Village, Ill Bill, AZ, DJ Premier & Joe Budden.
MoSS got his first taste of notoriety by working with Obie Trice (Shady Records) around 2000. Moss was producing records for Obie – including both his independent singles “Well Known” and the 12” “Mr. Trice” – which created the buzz that eventually led to Obie’s major label deal. Since then, MoSS has produced for a long list of “who’s who” in the Hip Hop world, including: Joell Ortiz, Ghostface, Papoose, Peedi Crack, The Game, Slum Village, Boot Camp Clik, Red Cafe, Mr Easy, AZ, Bounty Killa, D-Block (Styles P and Sheek Louch),
Termanology, Big Shug, M.O.P., Kool G. Rap, Ras Kass, Omilio Sparks, Proof of D12, and the list goes on.
A former member of DJ Premier’s production label, “Works of Mart”, as Premier’s first ever production signee, MoSS is not only an emcee’s producer, but a producer’s producer as well. Recognized by an elite group in his field, he is known by many as a record digger. Having assisted on price guides, rare record books and various musical anthologies, MoSS eventually started his own reissue label ‘Strawberry Rain’ that specializes in re-releasing rare psychedelic music from around the world, including countries like Indonesia, Iran, France and even Zambia where he travelled to find records and artists. His label has gained recognition across the globe and his releases have been reviewed in everything from Guitar Player magazine to an Indonesian division of Rolling Stone Magazine. A record collector in the truest sense of the word.
MoSS has been recognized in publications such as Rollingstone, SPIN,Scratch, People Magazine, Pound, Fadeout, and more. Production credits combined, the talented producer has sold over 2 million records worldwide.
