The multi-talented Don Miguel has spent the last few years on the road touring and as a session musician for artists such as Stalley, G-Side, Meek Mill & Ne-Yo to name just a few.
After linking up with Boldy James (“No Sympathy”) and Rapsody (“Forever” However) with the first two leaks from his forthcoming debut LP, Waiting For Carmine, Don Miguel returns with “Merciless Manuscript” featuring Guilty Simpson and Percee P.
Waiting For Carmine is produced entirely by Don Miguel (including the live instrumentation) and theme of the album deals specifically with Don’s upbringing in his family’s bar in Manhattan; and the various trials and tribulations that environment breeds.
The project features a vast array of collaborators, including appearances from ST 2 Lettaz of G-Side, Guilty Simpson, Boldy James, Percee P, Rapsody, Rashad Thomas, Blacastan, Justin Credible and others.
Don Miguel’s Waiting For Carmine will be officially released this spring, but you can purchase the single and listen to and purchase the album now on Bandcamp:

It’s been over 3 years since Sparkz has released any solo material, and what a three years it’s been! The work he has done with various ensembles has seen him gigging up and down the country, all across europe and gained him global critical claim as one of the best rappers in the UK. Now he’s finally ready to unleash his entirely self produced, triple EP, ‘Angles’. The concept being that the artist will portray three sides or ‘angles’ of his musical personality, spread across three 3 track EPs.
Part one of Sparkz’s sonic journey, ‘Angle One’, portrays his light-hearted, laidback side. Three jams of head nodding goodness, spiced with the lyrical skill and intricate flow only the man himself can deliver. ‘Angle One EP’ is out now on Room2 Records.

Award winning ethical street wear brand THTC (The Hemp Trading Company) announces its huge fundraiser party to raise money for its new season’s range following a devastating fire destroyed 10 years worth of their t-shirt screens.
The Hemp Trading Company has been deeply entrenched in the foundation of the British music scene and has been ranked the UK’s most ethical menswear brand by Ethical Consumer. Subsequently, it has been inundated with offers from its supporting artists, many of which have volunteered to play for free at the fundraiser.
The event, will be held on Friday 1st May at Brixton Electric, one of London’s most historical and prestigious music venues, is packed with big names across a spectrum that includes reggae, hip hop, drum and bass and jungle, with a pinch of beatbox.
THTC has become synonymous with great music, working with a galaxy of hugely talented stars throughout its illustrious 15 year history.
The lineup includes, Natty, Trojan Sound System, Orifice Vulgatron of The Foreign Beggars, French hip hop heavyweights ASM (A State Of Mind), DJ Skitz with guest MCs, Problem Child and drum and bass from Octane & TST / Colo[r]. Room 2 will be hosted by The Tru Sound Tribe.
Two additional headline acts will be announced during April due to contractual reasons.
This one off event will be hosted by rapper Mystro and Bass6 from The Beatbox Collective and THTC B-boys & B-Girls will also be performing.
THTC will be running a merchandise stand on the night, with our latest Spring / Summer range being available to purchase.
THTC will be donating a percentage of the profits to charity.

Inside the mind of William Cooper are visions that no man should behold. Although the Black Market Militia representative has experienced both the good and the bad, it’s the latter that explains why his “conscious is constantly at war with the darkness…” Joined by Army of the Pharoah’s, Reef The Lost Cauze, and legendary Onyx frontman, Sticky Fingaz, “True-N-Livin’ Nightmares” gives us three tales of terror: Coop with his metaphorical battles with vampires, devils, demons, and zombies; Reef who fights a holy war in the mental; and Sticky’s lucid mind trip of police evasion and misogyny.
Production is supplied by BP, who crafts an ominous head banger that keeps the track in a constant state of suspense. “True-N-Livin’ Nightmares” is the first leak taken from Cooper’s sophomore LP, God’s Will, which includes guest appearances from Ill Bill, Rah Digga, Sean Price, Killah Priest, and many more. God’s Will is set for a May 5th release date, and is now available for pre-order, through Gemstarr Regime Records.
