One simple way to describe how this project came about, Off-the-cuff! Concepts and ideas were thrown back and forth from Zimbabwe to France via email. But because of busy scheduling nothing was actually agreed upon. So, what to do? Three days were spent in a studio, with nothing but music as their spiritual offering. This is three days before The Monkey Nuts, Hope Masike and DJ OIL were meant to perform at one of Africa’s biggest festivals, The Harare International Festival of the Arts.
